I have seen the "befriendly" gravues multiple times, but they don't show up in the VP mode.

Any ideas on how to get this to work?

Example:
Ayane VP mode. I played as Ayane and was friendly with Leifeng. I even played as Leifeng and was friendly with Ayane.

Please don't tell me I 'm supposed to unlock both Ayane and Leifeng's VP mode before that gravue unlocks...

If so, this game will be harder than Ninja Gaiden Black running in Master Ninja mode to complete...

Well I have two complaints about virtual pictorial mode. No ability to choose accessories. No ability to control how tanned or untanned the girls are.

This is not a complaint but just something I wish they had included more then one play list.

I have a question about VP. What are the 3 gravue scenes in Ayane's section to the right of the tree in water "???" gravue scene?

Directly to the left of that is the Bike "???" gravue and to the Left of bike is the Seabreeze Cottage gravue.

theory for you on the VP. You have your VP girl "be friendly" with all other girls in game to unlock the "be Friendly" gravues I.E. Ayane's(as VP girl) Niki Beach "be friendly" gravue You have to "be friendly" with Tina, Lisa, Kokoro, Kasumi, Leifang, Helena, Hitomi, and Christie to get it unlocked. At least that is my theory for the "be friendly" gravue's. I could be wrong.

There are 2 default "be friendlies" that everybody has, unless there is a be friendly that overrides it. Those 2 defaults don't show up in VP. They are jungle midday and evening niki beach. The cases that override this are Christie/Helena jungle midday and kasumi/ayane niki beach evening. Note that the specific pair only ones show up in VP to the right of ?'s

O.K. I have something like 22% of my VP unlocked with Ayane. I have identified all the scenes I have unlocked. It follows the same pattern for each girl. So you will have a clue as to what you are missing, and can maybe help me figure out what I am missing. From right to left the pattern is...

As you can see from what little I have unlocked there seems to be a pattern, with only 29 scenes unlocked. I could be wrong.

I've unlocked 99% of the pictorials with Helena and right now I am assuming that I lack a second ??? one. To the right of Helena's ??? with the boat are one with Her and Christie midday in jungle and her and Kokoro I think at tranquil beach. Apart from that are the other character's gravures. You can tell who a gravure is associated with by using the left and right buttons to hop to scenes you can get from the next and previous characters. So since my last scene is between Helena's ??? on the boat and her Bass Island Swimming I assume it is a ???. I know that Kasumi and Ayane have a pair gravure evening at niki beach and Ayane and Christie tranquil beach morning. When you watch those they should take place in 2 of the first 3 unknowns.

No you are missing seabreeze cottage. You need to stay at the seabreeze cottage hotel and rest at the poolside during the evening, if I read your post right.

Hmm. I wonder if the seabreeze thing alternates evenings because I'm pretty sure I unlocked the original evening poolside while staying at seabreeze cottage (i.e. didn't stumble onto a special one.) I'll go ahead and give it a try though next time I cycle in Helena.

yes it does sort of alternate you can get 2 or more night poolside normal before seeing seabreeze cottage evening poolside. You can tell you got the seabreeze cottage poolside by the fact you will be standing on a wood balcany and if you mess with the camera you can tell you are actually in your hotel room. Also how the girls say they need to head back to the hotel well it wont do that it will do the words announcing they are back at the hotel without mentioning they need to head to the hotel. hope that clears it up for you.

One last little note on Virtual Pictorial mode and unlocking scenes. You have to have watched the scene with the girl before you can imitate it with another. Example: I could not imitate Helena at the pool with Ayane, because I had not seen the pool gravues for Helena as Helena.

Do you know if you've collected the Seabreeze Cottage scene while you have a partner? I cycled to Helena (partnered with Kasumi) and have rested Poolside for 6 evening time slots (day 2 to 7) without any luck. I am wondering if I need to rest on a partnerless vacation. Figured that I'd ask before ditching Kasumi. (Especially since she hasn't done anything to irritate me) Right now I'm just assuming that I'm unlucky and haven't hit the random value.

You can't have a partner to get the seabreeze cottage scene. Kasumi knocked me out of a jump on capricious teasing so I ditched her night of day 13 and poolside resting on 14 gave me the scene.

For those who have completed the DOAX2 collection, does all the girls have the Swimming Guavere movie? Hitomi has one, Leifang has one too:

How about the rest of the girls? Do any random befriended girl have a group Swimming Guavere movie in Virtual Pictorial Mode?

So far all I know is that every girl has a swimming gravure. I haven't found a group swimming gravure and now that I have 100% on Helena in VP I can say that none of the other girls have an imitatable swim scene. I am 98.3% done with Christie (lacking 5 cheapest Kokoro suits) so I should have a second VP option soon to get some correlated data.

Nope. I just work backwards. Since I work from expensive to cheap I start slow but pick up speed at the end.
