Could someone elaborate on the seabreeze cottage gravure? Do you simply have to stay at the seabreeze cottage and then rest at a certain place? I can't remember if I've gotten it or not.

Also, as rubbarsheep elaborated, you can only imitate scenes that the girl has herself performed. Additionally, as far as I can tell, it doesn't matter when you see the scene or imitate the scene, once you get VP mode, those scenes are unlocked.

I really hope that Team Ninja puts in a huge download where you can actually use accessories in VP mode. I prefer my Kasumi in heels and a ponytail when she's swining around the stripper pole .

Start up a vacation and select to stay at seabreeze cottage. Rest at the poolside during the evening time slot when you do not have a partner and optionally you will get the gravure for it.

Also, each girl has to collect each scene. To facilitate VP for later, I had each girl rest at each spot once I had my first VP with Helena once I made the connection on imitate scenes. So once a girl has all of her normal scenes then any other girl can imitate that girl at select times/spots. So right now, I just unlocked Christie's VP and she has 22% (Her basics, a team with Ayane, and a few others) I need to have Christie partner with all of the other girls and complete all of the imitation gravures for each particular girl to get her to 100% as well. (Apart from ?'s, pole, and team gravures) It would be nice to accessorize, not to mention picking the costumes for both girls in a team gravure. (I unlocked Christie to see if having both at 100% is required for picking both girl and partner's outfits...haven't tried it yet.)

Maybe completing the accesory collection lets you select accesories?

Not that I've readily noticed. But then again I haven't tried hitting up or down during costume selection.

Not to mention a partner costume selection. I wasn't able to select Christie's costume from Helena's VP (both are available). However, I don't have Christie's grav with Helena on C's and I don't have all acc. and items with C yet. (about 60% 80% respectively)

I wont be contributing much to the forums anymore. I have alot of games I have bought and have not conqured them all. So my input wont be as much as it used to be just beat drakengaurd 1, currently working on The Bouncer, both from Squaresoft or Square/Enix. I will admit, I am a shameless Square FanBoy. I mainly contributed to the forums because I felt a debt to fuzzy_fuzzpuppy (for DOAX1)so I will check from time to time to see if fuzzy has any new posts. So I can thank him for all his help on the first doax.

I may follow suit. My game just froze as Kasumi accepted Saga with a giggle. Restarting the console came up to a nice clean start screen without virtual pictorial as an option. I have two nice save files (Already tried removing the default "Hitomi" savegame to see if I could recover). Since there isn't a backup and right now I have little interest starting completely from scratch I'll probably move on.

It's nice that so much time is spent making sure that save games can't be copied or things can't be exploited that no redundancy/recovery mechanism is put in place to protect against failure.

The Bouncer - you can beat that game in an hour. It does have some good replay value though. Coincidentally, I just recently picked it up. After playing "God Hand", the best game of 2006 (In my opinion), I now have a terrible thirst for beat em ups.

And I too am getting a little weary of this game and am taking a break. Christie is being a bit extra stubborn taking suits as of late. It's really slowing me down. I guess it is my fault for starting with the biggest b*cth first.

I've been thinking about getting that Data Exporter. If I do start playing again, I will want to make sure that I have a data recovery plan .

I guess I probably shouldn't play another game before playing DOAX2.

Has anyone found out if you can select accesories as well as costumes, or if getting all the items allows you to do this if you can't initially?

When I had 100% suits, items, accessories for Helena I could not specify accessories for Helena. Course I didn't have all of the jet skis. Right now though I doubt accessories will be selectable as well as partner's swimsuit for group gravures. (I.E. 100% suits on both doesn't allow you to select both girls' suit.)

What a horrible oversight. Well my last hope is that maybe collecting all items for everyone will enable it.

I don't see the motivation in selling the items if they have no purpose for the VP, the only reason to buy a collection in the first place.

I'd e-mail Team Ninja if I wan't sure it'd go into the "crazy fan (delete immediately)" folder.

After playing through NGS for a looooong time, I am back at this game again...

Sad thing is, I'm back to cheating again, not playing any vb at all...

I started playing it again a little while back. If you ever want to transfer from the 20GB HD to the 120 then DOAX2 doesn't work after transfer. So I've had 2 attempts wiped out. (I got a few disk read errors on my 20 so I decided to upgrade and transfer my save to a newer hdd)

What is the point of "one time game transfers" if they don't even work?

I think they may use the hard drive key as part of the savegame. I noticed that some of my videos didn't transfer as well. Hopefully they will see this and adjust their approach in the future.
