I think a lot of people would like Tecmo to release a patch to drastically reduce the time of gifting suits. There are just too many and the girls like to reject them too often. I would like to know if Tecmo reads any of these topics or do I have to contact them in another manner. Thanks for reading this.

Chrissy, welcome to the forum.

In the past only one member of TECMO, name Brian ever showed interest in answering forum questions. He would only show up rarely and has not been heard from for many years.

If you are wondering if TECMO cares what you think about games, forget it. They do not want to be wasting time on here.

When forum members come up with new ideas they are "SHOCKED" by forum watchdog mods to forget it and are told to read "Forum Guide Lines".

Odd but true their does seems to be new blood on the forum these days by the name of WEBMASTER. Not sure who or what this person has to do with TECMO, but seems to show an interest in the forum. If Webmaster is part of the TECMO company I do not know. Even if there is a connection I am sure that Tecmo will not respond to anyone on hear.

Tecmo Webmaster is, from my understanding, a Tecmo employee and so is Tecmo_pr. Tecmo is doing their best to try and get this community back to the way it used to be a long time ago. They might not answer some of the questions for whatever reason and their reasons are most likely very good but they are trying their best right now so give them a chance. The answers they have given us so far are ,to the best of my knowledge, Tecmo answers.

That said, my answer to this question would be blunt, which I'm trying my best not to do right now if I can avoid it. I would say that the Crystal Boutique might be a reason for them not to do this but since I don't work for Tecmo, I have no idea what they have planned for this game in the future.

If enough people show interest in this happening...who knows what they might do.

Oh yeah feel free to change your avatars to something of your choice...well as long as it is not offensive. We finally got the option back after all of these years.

There have been other Tecmo employees that have posted on the forums before. Michelle was one but she left the company many years ago. She was a particular fan favorite.

I do not agree with RMT in regards to saying that Tecmo doesn't care what you have to say. They have cared in the past but the Tecmo forums have gone through a lot of childish behavior over the years. Heavy moderation was needed and as a result it has taken its toll on them as a result.

Always feel free to post your thoughts. Just keep it civil and maybe we can help to regrow this community into a place where people will want to come and discuss all things Tecmo.

To answer your question chrissy13, at this point in time I do not see anything else being released for DOAX2. Team Ninja is hard at work with Ninja Gaiden 2 and finalizing Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword. Rumors of DOA5 are in the mix so I can see a lot of development resources going into newer games instead of going back to older ones.

Last night there was an update on XBOX Live but I doubt it covered anything specific.

One thing I've niticed is if you give a SS to a girl and she declines but stays friendly w/you just re-wrap it and give it to her again this time she WILL accept it.

this game is about odds.
Sometimes, the likelyhood of suit giving succeeding is like 50%, sometimes, it's only 5%.

After every attempt, I think the odds stack.

So, let's say you have a difficult suit to give, with only a 5% chance o succeeding...

On the 2nd attempt, I think the odds jump up to 10%, 3rd attempt = 15%, 4th = 20%, etc.

I cheat on every suit (reset game on failure)and have counted how many attempts it took to gift.

Most suits go on first try
Lots go after 2
Then 5, then 10 and the worst suit for me was 20 attempts.

I'll try that strategy cause I gave the Seashell suit to Koroko once and she accepted but I deleted the game and when I tried giving it to her again I failed 3 times in a row and gave up. I've now got everybody constantly wearing the suits I want, but I can't or won't be able to unlock on Xbox the w/e they're called.
