Could anyone explain:
1. How can I make a spike to the right/left of the field and not to the middle. I try to press MoveRight/MoveLeft/Back + A, while hitting, but it doesn't work, the ball still goes to the middle of the field. For example, when I play with Lisa, she sets a ball just near the net in the middle, I press A to get to the ball and while close to it press these: MoveRight/MoveLeft/Back + A, but the ball still goes to the same middle spot. 2. How can I get the ball through the block so it is not picked up by the other team member? If I press B to send it over, the second character in the opposed team picks it up 100% and sets it to a spike that I can't pick up because for some reason I am stuck under the net and can't move for about half a sec after the hit. 3. What should I press and when to block effectively. (I am really tired that all my spikes are either blocked or picked up with a counter spike that I can't take or block). 4. When should I press and what to successfully accept a "good spike"? Thanks in advance. If you can direct me to a good manual on how to play this game, it will be much appreciated. My game version (Scandinavian) doesn't contain a real manual, the four pages that we have here for a manual is a joke: it simply states that B-receive, A-hit). I can't believe this was done by Japanese. Probably some our local microsoft branch was setting up the production. PS. This is the most unfair and cheating game I ever played. It combines extreme eye candy with infuriating gameplay. But I think it was said here many times before. |

Heres how to play DOAX2.
Always be hitting "B" on the recieving end of the game, timing is everything to do with the power of the ball. Hold different angles on the control when you spike... Practice, practice, practice... NINJA |

You press up for long spikes, down for short spikes, left for the ball going generally left and right for right. I usually get the ball to go IN THE GENERAL direction of where I want it to go, but not exactly. I find the easiest way to score a spike is to press down and away from the closest player. If you get it close enough to the player you'll get a 1000 points, if you knock down the player you get an extra 1000 points. I go up to spike at the last second to get them to not jump and try to block it. Getting through the block is by chance. Usually IF they go up to block I press the bump/set button and float it over the net. I'm still trying to figure out how to not deflect the spike way out of bounds.
