there is another "roulette" trick, that is normally performed at real life casinos, it's called geometric progression gambling. while i have not played doax2 since december it would be fun seeing it applyed to the game, and i will try it on the weekend.
the "trick" goes on like this. 1) you are going to gamble to a 2to1 pay, regular play so you can either gamble to a color or even/uneven. 2) you gamble the amount you want to win, so if i want to win 10,000 zack, you start by gambling 10,000 zack. 3) if you lose, you double your bet for the next round, if you win you start again from block1. the theory is simple, since you are always betting double the prevoius amount and you are going to win double the current amount that means that, no matter how much you lose, once you win, you win all recover all your loses + the initial gamble. and example is in thousands of zack: 1- gamble 10 lose total lose 10 2- gamble 20 lose total lose 30 3- gamble 40 lose total lose 70 4- gamble 80 lose total lose 150 5- gamble 160 win total lose 150 + 160 you gambled, but you win 320 so 320- 310 = 10 win. the only risk there is runign out of funds, but you have to be very unlike to lose like, 12 times in a row or so. |

The only problem is the table limits for roulette is 100,000 Z, so a bet of 5,000 Z would only allow for five bets before you could no longer double your bet. At 10,000 Z you could only bet four times. Four spins should win most of the time on 50/50 bets, but the amount gained would be insignificant. I can usually win 2-4 million in poker in about thirty minutes on a good night, and a day of jetskiing on the hardest courses is worth at least 1 million, and takes about ten minutes. And of course the water slide gets you 300,000+ a day and takes a minute and a half.
I have never timed the roulette wheel, but I think it's safe to say that it would take about 2 minutes to regularly win 10,000 with two to four spins, doubling each time. If that's right, 1,000,000 Z would take about three hours, and dosen't even take into account Motoko's point that the Casino cheats. |

It's all gambler's falacy. Both the real casino and the Tecmo casino cheat. It is mathematically impossible to win. The best odds is 49% which means you lose. If you find that you actually win in the DOAX2 casino, that means they rigged it for you to win. Knowing Team Ninja, the DOAX2 casino is very likely designed with the exact same odds as a real one.

This is actually called the "Double Down" method, and the probability works in the House's favor, because your math doesn't take into account 0/00, meaning by choosing red/black, row or thirds, you actually only have a ~32% chance of tripling your money, meaning that you will lose, on average, ~6% of your total wager every three spins.
