I had a receiver named J.O.E. HORN on the N.O. team and it wouldn't let me use the team online. I changed it to J.Horn and I still couldn't use N.O. team online. So I just changed his name altogether now I can use the N.O. team online just fine.

This has NOT been fixed. I tried to use the teams it wouldn't let me previously and it still doesn't. I get the message that you cannot use this team or name and to choose another, then you get logged out. Very annoying. Does this still happen to others as well, or has anyone been able to get this problem fixed.

Agreed that this problem has not been fixed because I can not use the Kansas City Clashers online.

Wifi Gripes:

1. I cannot get my A button to work much of the time, especially on extra points. One reason I go for 2 so much is not that I am worried about getting the kick blocked, but that I cannot kick PERIOD! Not the same with field goals.

2. About 25% of the time I cannot select the player that I want on defense. I press with all my might and speed, but cannot switch defensive players. This is especially true on FG's and XPTs.

3. Delays on the kicks. It seems that there is no delay when it comes to throwing the football or changing receivers, diving, etc. But kicks are about a half second delay.

4. It is impossible to view the profiles of friends.

5. My wifi connection is always best with the "quitters." When I play a competitive opponent, the Wifi seems not to work as well.

6. I understand that certain team names and player names cannot go online. However, there is no criteria. Hello! If I knew why a team could not compete online I would change the team.

I love Tecmo Bowl. Because I have a family and full-time job I will never get into complex games like Madden or NCAA football. But please re-issue another improved edition of the game for DS...I promise I will buy it! There are just too many defects in what could be a video game that catches all of us who are in our 30's and who played the originals as children and teenagers.

In one game I played tonight, I was able to kick and make 4 of seven extra pts. Made the first four and then could not get the next three to kick even though I had time.
