For some reason I can't get any Super ability points and I already played 2 seasons. The manual reads if you get 3000L points for the season you get 1pt and if you get 5000L points you get 2pts. I have been thrashing the other teams in season mode for 2 seasons already and I don't get squat. And I never heard of this "TecmoJo" on Oakland, I don't see him anywhere. So if you have any tips or pointers, I am all ears. I am a huge Tecmo Bowl fan.

uh..well it tells you how many L points you have throughout the season at the end of each game when they show the stats. you sure you getting the 3000?

o and tecmo jo isnt on oakland...he appears on the LA supercocks team when you unlock him. not quite show how you do it but i unlocked him first season after i went undefeated..so maybe thats what you have to do...i dunno...someone feel free to correct me

Super ability points are hard to come by. If you get 3000L points at the end of the season you get 1 super ability point. If you get 5000L points then you get 2 super ability points. Although it can be done, it is extremely difficult to get 5000L points in a season.
At the end of each game during the recap at the top of the screen underneath the score it says L points and it will show your number. You can only get a couple hundred per game. After you win the super bowl there are a couple of screens that come up and will tell you whether or not you have gained any super ability points. My guess is that although you have been thrashing your weak computer opponents you haven't been scoring enough to gain the L points. I'm talking about you scoring over 40 points a game. Temo Joe is on the L.A. SuperCocks and again when you win the super bowl after the 2nd season a message appears and tells you that.

Well in response of L points, I beat Min with Chi 91-0 in season play and I got like 2300 L points in that game alone so I know I should have gotten like an easy 5000 L points for the season. I also went undefeated for 2 seasons averaging about 45 points and I have not seen a
"TecmoJo" yet. I just don't know why I am not getting these points.

you sure that was after 1 game tito? cuz at the end of each game it tells you the total L point you have on the stat board not how much you got that single game. i average around 70 points and i barely cracked 3000, lol

Tito, your mistaken. I beat a team 120-0 and still only got a couple hundred L points. It's impossible to get 2300L points in a game. If that was the case why would the game be set up at only 3000 points for 1 point? That doesn't make any sense. Tecmo Jo is available after you win the super bowl the second time on the L.A. SuperCocks. A message will appear and tell you that after you beat the game. The screen will appear after they announce your team and the Tecmo screen disapppears. It will be inside of a box with all text.

i do have a question about tecmo jo though. me and a friend were talkin bout this yesterday...i got tecmo jo after my first season for whatever reason and he had 80 in all his stats. now my friend said he got him after the 2nd season and all of his stats were 85 (his game erased a lil while after that so he cant go back and check, all memory based). so yea...can the ppl who have tecmo jo tell me what his stats are?. i want to know if getting him later on does up his stats somehow or if my friend is just senial

Nah, I got Tecmo Jo after the 2nd season and all his stats are 85. I am not sure what happened after the first season though. A box did appear with some info but I forgot what it said.

After the 5th season I haven't had the skill points increase or gain at all. You still can collect L points though for super abilities.

i was using the raiders. editing the browns today hopefully ready for play this evening.
