I don't mess around with PS3, but I definitely will be rocking out on my 360!!!! I read the article and saw the clips on ESPN and they look good!!!! I am keeping an eye out for this game and soon as it is available I will be playing it!!!!

The game looks great. It promises to play like the original. With the network capabilities this could really be fun.

Only thing that could be better was real teams and players, but hopefully we can download other people's edits.

This looks awesome, but why aren't they releasing it for the Wii? I've been waiting for a good Tecmo Bowl game for the Wii since it came out. All they got is the crappy original one, which only has 4 plays per team.

I heard that they think the Wii is only for kids and families, and that's why they released Family Fun Football for it, but that's not true. The Wii is the highest selling system, and there's plenty of adult gamers who play it.

The Wii needs a better Tecmo Bowl! Is there a petition or something I can sign for this?

So has anyone played this at all on Xbox? It still hasn't been released on PS3.

Primetyme, I just played Tecmo Throwback on X-box Live and it was great! They give you the option to play 2D or 3D. If you want the traditional Tecmo Bowl game then 2D is what you want. 3D is more like an updated version of Tecmo Bowl but I didn't like it much. I did not play online though I will in the future. I will let you know when I do.

Online multi-player currently lags so much it is completely unacceptable unless you are the host. And, if you are the host, whoever you are playing against (the hostee) has so much lag it isn't even challenging (or worth it). There was a rumor that this would be patched, but now they (Tecmo, Southend) are saying it will not be patched. I have emailed Tecmo, Southend, and Microsoft to get their official response as to whether or not the game will be fixed. If they do not patch it, the game is basically worthless when it comes to online multi-player.

I am beyond disappointed to say the least as I have supported the Tecmo Bowl franchise from the beginning and still own a copy of every version of the game for every system. I love Tecmo Bowl, but if we as the consumer do not stand up and demand a working product the future of this series is doomed.

ShannDogg, man I haven't heard from you in quite sometime on the forum. I haven't attempted the online game yet, I was just geeked to play it on my X-Box 360!!!! I just bought a new Nintendo DSI XL and can not even get online anymore so I turned to Tecmo Throwback figuring it would be an upgrade.

As consumers you are right we must stand up and demand answers when the product has bugs in it or is crappy!!!! Tecmo needs to step in and rescue the franchise!!!! Update the game engine, the graphics, the customization, the online multi-player etc.

With the systems we have today(PS3, X-Box 360, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DSI) I would have thought by now that Tecmo would have really super upgraded the Tecmo Bowl franchise. I guess they are to busy with the Ninja Gaiden series........
