Beat Trussville Huskies 30-6 in an early morning game.

Later on beat Carolina Huskies 31-14

Good games Tim.

You said you wanted a crack at the Drive and I have given you plenty.

Did I say that???

Great games, Detroit...Too, the Wifi connection was the best that it has been when we have played.

I have not seen many folks online. Have you seen the BowTies and the NJ Strikers lately?

Take care.

My record is 21-9 and have dropped out of the top 25.

I ran into the NJ Strikers and had one of the best games I've played online with my Carolina Huskies.

Down 21-8 and 27-16 in the 2nd half, I came back to win. It was 27-24 and an onside kick failed and the Strikers were taking it in for a game clinching TD, when FUMBLE!! Deion Sanders took it 90 plus yards for the game winning TD.

Carolina Huskies 32, NJ Strikers 27

NJ, please post your friend code. Always enjoy competing with you. Take care.

Played 4 more games tonight:

Beat the NJ Strikers twice with the Huskies:

Carolina 36, NJ 30
Carolina 58, NJ 26

Then I lost to Detroit Kid twice

Detroit Drive 25, Carolina 0
New Orleans Voodoo 38, Carolina 8

Detroit, I think that you need to take K-Master's title for being Master of Tecmo Bowl Kickoff.

NJ, I enjoyed the games but we all know that you can recover onside kicks. It gets old because onside kicks are supposed to be gambles, not sure things.

Both of you take care. God bless!

Tim, I took that title long ago when I smashed him with my 5000 point team!!!! LOL

Good games though. I saw you changed your plays.

And if you think I am good you should have been around when this game first came out. Guys like Shannndogg, and DH 1125 are incredible players.

Now mostly everyone quits when losing.

Detroit,

Yeah, I kinda got into the game late, back in October and did not get online until Christmas. That is what I hate about this version of Tecmo Bowl - it gets old. Tecmo Super Bowl never got old, no matter how many times you played it. Too, I don't think that you would find people quitting left and right.

I am glad that they made this version of Tecmo Bowl, but they skimped on a lot of what made the originals great.

In an all Texas matchup the Texas Tech Red Raiders led by Graham Harell, Wes Welker and Michael Crabtree defeated Colt McCoy, Ricky Williams and the Texas Longhorns.

This game was the most fun I have had in a while.

Fumbles, a few defensive stands, long sacks and plenty of offensive including long pass and run plays!

Evenly matched teams and players.

Good game Tim!

Detroit,

I had no idea that was you until the game was over. Yeah, it was a great game. I wish that I could kick extra points. I can kick FG's but for some reason, no matter how much time I have, I cannot get the A button to work. Just a gripe, but you stopped my 2's several times. But yeah, a great game. Take care.

Texas Tech 40, Texas 32

My record: 27-12

Lost to the Detroit Drive with my Carolina Huskies, 58-28. I had my best success moving the ball but threw 5 int's. That must be a Tecmo Bowl online record.

Official Record is 27-14.

Unofficially, I should have about 70 wins.

Played 3 games against K Master. His teams were in the low 7000's while I used 6500-7500 teams. The results:

Texas Longhorns 26, 1989 SF 49ers 10
Minnesota Twins 25, 2005 Seahawks 14
Detroit Dynamite 11, 1986 Giants 3

All 3 good games.

I am not going online anymore due to the quitters. If anyone wants a game, message me. Thanks!

Record: 30-14
Rank: 33

Tim, I know that facing all of the quitters is bad I had 3 just the other day not finish the firs quarter, but don't let the quitters keep you down man!!!!!!

If you have X-Box 360 or PS3 it looks like Tecmo "ThrowBack" will be available pretty soon to play. That should give everyone a good new outlet to play Tecmo Bowl!!!!

Played three games against the New Jersey Strikers last night.

First, with my Texas Longhorns at 6590, the Strikers won 9-6 in OT. I could not kick my PAT (again) after my score in the second. The Strikers had two FG in the 4th and got the ball in OT and drove for the game winner.

Second, I brought out my Carolina Huskies to take on the Strikers. A couple of turnovers and an untimely safety for the Strikers led to a 24-3 win for the Huskies.

Third game was the most exciting. I played with my Trussville Huskies team, at 8060 pts, but no special abilities. I fell behind 15-0 at the half after a fumble and int. Got the ball and drove for a TD at the begining of the 4th to make it 15-8. Then on the next play I get a turnover and score within 2 plays. A 2 pt. conversion puts me ahead 16-15. However, I could not hold on. The Strikers hit a big pass play to my 5 yard line. I make a stand defensively, but a FG puts the Strikers ahead 18-16. Then the Strikers onside kick with 1 minute to go! They score and the final was 25-16.

So, I was 1-2 against the Strikers. But great games.

Take care!

I finally got my St. Augustine Lions on the internet to play. I had an all Florida State roster and got rid of some player names that may have been preventing access.

First game was a success. The Lions beat the NJ Strikers 28-0. Had two safeties and limited the Strikers to 28 total yards. Best online game thus far against good competition.

Record: 32-16

Found two more matchups against two old-time Southwest Conference powers.

First, my St. Augustine Lions edged the Texas Longhorns 14-13 on a missed PAT in the 3rd quarter. Fourth quarter was scoreless, but filled with back and forth action.

Second, my Carolina Huskies destroyed the SMU Mustangs 32-0. SMU moved the ball a bit, but could not sustain a drive. I got way ahead early and was up 16-0 at the end of the first and 24-0 just a minute into the second, but I left some points on the field with a turnover at the end of the half, a blocked FG, and letting the time run out at the goal line. One of my better games, nevertheless.

Good games, whoever created these teams. Thanks for not quitting.

Record: 34-16 and back in the top 25!

Game 1: Carolina 26, Trenton Twelve 6
Game 2: St. Augustine Lions 42, NJ Strikers 22
