Played two games against Striker.
Game 1 was a defensive struggle all the way between the Trussville Huskies and the NJ Strikers that nearly got away. I was up 6-0 and running out the clock. I had just gotten the ball at my own 5 with 2 minutes to go and completed a first down pass across midfield. Then I ran the ball two plays. I was going to run and then punt. However, my QB fumbled and Striker got it back with 2 seconds. The pass was incomplete, but I nearly blew what was a tough win. T'ville Huskies 6, Strikers 0 Game 2 got away early with my St. Augustine Lions vs. the Trenton Twelve. However, Striker made one of the best plays I have seen on online play thus far. I kicked off to start the 2nd half, up 28-0. Striker called a pass, and my defense closed in the end zone. The QB shakes off one tackle, then another, and with 4-5 defensive players about to sack him for a safety, he heaves the ball 100 yards in the air where his receiver, C. Ya, makes a leaping grab inside the ten and takes it in for the TD! I held on for a 36-12 win, but was stunned after that play. Great games, Striker. Thanks for the opportunities to play. Record: 39-16 |

Split two games with Striker last night.
Carolina 28, NJ Strikers 2: I got tackled for a safety on a kickoff! This is the first time I was unable to down the ball in the endzone. Happened again in the next game, but I got out to the five. I already have enough glitches online...don't need another one! NJ Strikers 24, Buffalo Rock 18: I hadn't played with the Rock in a while. Big plays gave Striker a 21-6 lead, but I fought back to make it 21-18 in the 3rd. Held Striker on a great drive to a FG and then drove to his 30 with one play left. Striker intercepts on the goal line to seal the win. Great game! Thanks for the games, they are always enjoyable! Record: 40-17 |

those game last night were great. Its always enjoyable to play against you. Tim I went online and cheched out that action replay that you told me about. It's realy sad that some people need to cheat to be number one. that is something I would never get and I consider those who have it, not to be true fans of the game.
Tim how many teams do you have? |

Striker,
We are even as far as skill. You seem to have a couple more fumbles, which I do not know how to remedy that. I have had some games with lot's of turnovers, but they seem to be pretty random. Detroit Kid does not cheat. He is really good. I have beaten him only twice in almost 15 tries. However, there are others online that have. I may play the whole game with them, but I always quit before the result is tallied. My teams: Carolina Huskies (Ingram is my Tecmo Jo) Trussville Huskies (from my HS in Alabama) St. Augustine Lions (mostly a Florida State roster that I renamed after failing to get online) Minnesota Twins (7600 pts.) Texas Longhorns (6500 Pts.) Buffalo Rock (7900 pts., named for the Soft Drink) Nebraska Huskers (5500 pts) I have an Alabama team that I cannot get online. I have also played with a San Diego Chargers team, but rarely use them. |

Striker,
Me too as well. Games against you are great. I have not seen RudyRivCa online lately. He has the Cincy Bow Ties and they are pretty tough. I don't know who has Texas Longhorns and SMU Mustangs, but please post your friend codes. Last night's results: St. Augustine Lions 28, NJ Strikers 6 Trussville Huskies 14, Trenton Twelve 7 Record: 42-17 |

Played the NJ Strikers once last night with the Carolina Huskies.
After turning the ball over three times in the first half, the Huskies came from behind to beat the Strikers 22-6. Record: 43-17 Too, I finally was able to kick FG's and PAT's! I am excited about this! |

Played two games against the always competitive and classy Striker with my St. Augustine Lions
Lions 31, NJ Strikers 15 Lions 29, NJ Greenheads 9 (I think that was the name of the team?) Great games. I had two games from K Master quit. He messaged me and was having problems with Wi-Fi. It would be great if we could get some of the older players back online. I hope that we can build a base of players that won't quit. Record: 45-17 This message has been edited. Played three games last night.
The first was against the an unaltered Minnesota Yettis team with my Trussville Huskies. The Yettis were at 5900 pts and my team was at 8060, so it was a mismatch. Final score: Huskies 43, Yetti's 20. Thank you for not quitting. Whoever you are, please post your friend code and I can match you with a more evenly matched team. You are a great player. Then I matched with Striker with my 6590 pt. Texas Longhorns. This was a classic slugfest. Striker scored with a minute to go to take a 13-10 lead. I got in range for a long field goal, which hit the upright. Great game though. Final: NJ Strikers 13, Texas Longhorns 10 Finally, I played the Strikers with my Carolina Huskies. This was more of a mismatch. However, Striker had an opportunity to get back in the game when after a fumble on the kickoff his lineman picked up a loose ball and was going all the way before my players tackled him at the one yard line as time expired. Final, Huskies 38, Strikers 0. Great games last night! Record: 47-18 |

Tim,
The games we play are always great,Thanks. to let you know I do have a few new teams Cape May Greenheads Tecmo Spartans Californina Condors Trenton Twelve As for the Strikers they are my maine team, however, lately I have been in a major slump with them. It seems the few alterations I made to my players stats, have really affected the team. I have been loosing the majority of my games. It seams I have a strong first half and then totally fall a part in the second half. I am also having more fumbles then ever. |

Just a thought:
I would try to adjust one of your teams for speed rather than power or even balancing your attributes. That is how Detroit Kid plays and I have picked up some of that in the way that I play. It seems getting the QB on the corner of the defense where he has a run-throw option is the best way to go. Set your QB for speed and see how it goes. It is hard to pocket pass. I've enjoyed the matchups. Your receivers always seem to make some incredible catches. As far as the fumbles, you are turning over more than your share. I don't know what to tell you about that. |

My Carolina Huskies had a great back and forth game with the New Jersey Strikers last night. Striker must have made some modifications to the offense because it was quicker and harder to defend. I went up 10-0 after Striker had a great drive end in an INT. However Striker had a TD and 2 pt. PAT before the half and a FG early in the 3rd to go up 11-10. On the next possession I called a pass out of the gun from Tebow to David Palmer for 73 yds. down to the 10. A TD and 2 pt. put me up 18-11. Ingram scored after a grind it out drive following a Striker failed 4th down attempt. Behind 25-11, Striker mounted another great TD drive with 0:16 left. A 2 Pt. PAT left the score 25-19. However, an onside kick failed and I successfully ran out the clock.
Great game! Record 50-19 |

The St. Augustine Lions and NJ Strikers went at it in a slugfest, with the Lions pulling away in the second half for a 33-12 win, after falling behind early.
Striker, I do not know what happened the first time we tried to play. Your defender hit my punt-returner before the ball got to him, but neither side could pick up the ball! Record: 51-19 |

Found two matches online tonight.
First, my New Orleans Crawfish, an 8060 pt. team took on an overmatched NY Hardknockers team. Final score was 40-0, Crawfish. Thank you for not quitting. I can match you with a more comparable team if you message me. The second game was one of the most exciting I have had in a while. My Carolina Huskies matched John Elway and the Denver Broncos. It was an offensive gem and a defense's nightmare. However, the Huskies held on to win, 51-38. Denver Broncos, great game! I could not stop your offense. Only a couple of first quarter turnovers were the difference in the game. Please post your friend code or message me if you want to play again. Take care! Record: 53-19 |

Played 4 games last night.
The first matched my St. Augustine Lions with a 5800 pt. Seattle Chevalier team that looked like it was basically unaltered. The Lions took this one easily 37-6. The next three were against the Denver Broncos from the John Elway days. I don't know whose team this is, but it has been fun matching up with them. First Game: The Lions matched the Broncos in a nail-biter. After two turnovers, the Lions were behind 13-0 with a minute to go in the first half. A long Ward pass to Vanover set up a QB sweep with 8 seconds to go to make it 13-7. Then with 8 seconds to go, onside kick! The Lions recovered. On the very next play, Ward hit Vanover for a 55 yd. TD! The PAT made it 14-13 Lions at the half. Two TD's in 8 seconds! I built a 23-13 lead in the 4th and the Broncos came back with under a minute. A TD and 2 pt. PAT made it 23-21. However the onside kick failed and the Lions ran out the clock for a 23-21 win. What a game! The next game was all Broncos in a match against the Carolina Huskies. The Huskies scored first after a Bronco's failed 4th down attempt (this guy hardly punts and makes a good bit of his 4th downs). After that, it was turnovers, failed fourth downs and an overall dominating Bronco effort that left the Huskies hapless. The Broncos won 32-7. The final game was between the Lions and the Broncos. I benched my Huskies after all those turnovers. It was 6-0 Lions going into the 4th. The only score had been a fumble return by my LB "Buster" Davis in the 1st. I had a great clock eating drive in the 3rd stall on the goal line. I decided to try for an easy 3, since it was a defensive game. The kick was blocked. However, after a stand of my own, I went up 14-0 on a TD and 2 pt. PAT. The Broncos drove for a score with over a minute to play and a 2 pt. PAT to make it 14-8. After a failed onside kick, I scored in 2 plays to put the game away at 21-8. Denver, all three were enjoyable games. You are a great player. Please post your friend code. Record: 56-20 |

Just finished what was a really good game against a team called the Unknown Unknowns. They were in all black. I had pulled away to make it 30-16 in the 4th after a goal line stand and a long TD run. We exchanged turnovers and then the guy quits with 4 seconds to go!
Whoever you are, do you think that you can quit when you are losing and expect the rest of us to allow you to win? How do you think that this thing works. You better change your name, players and colors because I will not give you another game. |
