I really don't like how DOA has slipped down the rocky path to failure. From the HD graphics of the 360, down to PSP and now DS? So I want to take the time to kind of interview the fans on this site to see what you think.

Question:
What platform would you like to see the next DOA or Ninja Gaiden game on?

Shovel-ware ( wii )
portable ( PSP, DS, 3DS.. )
Multi-Platform ( 360, PS3, wii.. )

 

Also what are your views on a 3D DOA? although the 3DS will not be that spectacular Sony mentioned a simple system update to convert customers existing PS3s into 3D compatible PS3s. Would you prefer a standard DOA in normal HD or a 3D DOA in some shape or form?

Would you like to see more DOA fighting games or more Ninja gaiden games? or even other games such as DOAX or new franchises that could incorporate 3D and motion like on 360's Kinetic or PS3's Playstation Move?

I would like to see more DOA and Ninja Gaiden with dlc for multiple consoles. Personally I blame the "console wars" for dividing the gaming community with exclusive releases. It is almost painful to see certain franchises especially those that have been multi console in the past to become exclusive. Now one thing I personally don't mind is when they have exclusive content that they may or may not make dlc later on for the other console ie; Soulcalibur 4.

Also I am not just saying this as a 360 owner who feels jilted by Tecmo's latest DOA announcement I have empathy for anyone else who bought a console only to find out that a favorite franchise has suddenly switched over to another console.

yeah but there has always been the console war, goldeneye wasn't on PS1 and N64 never got FF7 etc..

I think its really escalated though and the console companies are making money off of exclusive titles that should be going to developers because they would get more money and fans from multi-platform games.

The main thing that annoys me about the new DOA being on the 3DS is that firstly its not on one of the main three, ( 360 PS3 or wii ) and secondly the fact that fans will be forced to buy a whole new console to play it, which being the first 3D console will be very expensive.

I owned a 360 but since that died I bought a PS3 and play that almost exclusively but if DOA5 had been a 360 exclusive I still would have been happier than having it on this 3DS thing.

that sucks, the new doa game that is coming out will be on the Nintendo 3D...they need to put it on the PS3 and Xbox 360

That's not exactly what I had in mind. I expected something more about the Dead or Alive storyline. So far I've experienced the gameplay all storylines are differently.
