With Itagaki gone

We might get purchaseable content for DOAX2

I'd pay a hundred bucks for a nude patch

Legal nude patch made by Tecmo for sale thru Xbox marketplace.

I agree. Sometimes those remakes are sweet though.. DOA Ultimate (DOA2 Remake) was great.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is the very best version of the original and I cannot speak highly enough of it.

It would be great to see Tecmo take the DOA and NG universe's in new ways. That should be priority 1 at Tecmo. Things were getting stale and repetitive. One of the reasons Itagaki left? Becuase of his own incarnations and inhabitions at letting go of old ways?

The Tecmo game universe can grow and should grow! We love your games! Go dig some of those ideas out of the trash...! Smiler

A lot of us are really hanging on the edge of our seat waiting for announcements for the following years. PS3 and Tecmo can do some great stuff at this point while you guys continue to support Microsoft with lauches and pinches.

Theres soooooooooooo much potential....

I do hope to continually see games on the 360.

Hey Shogun, did you read that new article about TECMO??

quote:
Just when we all thought that the unimaginable couldn't get any more worse, news have now spread across the web that all 300 employees of Tecmo have now come forth (yesterday) to file a suit against the company for unpaid salaries and bonuses. More on this below:

After Itagaki decided to leave due to unpaid bonuses, it looked as though things might just end with that. Then came the rumor that around three dozen employees would follow suit. Now it seems like Tecmo has been dismembered and is just waiting for the inevitable OT. A lawsuit was filed in Tokyo District Court just yesterday on behalf of all 300 of Tecmo's remaining employees, and according to one translation claims that "Tecmo has falsified documents and accounting procedures in regards to employment statuses, overtime pay and various lapses in employment standards when filing documents for labor inspections."

Additionally, a Famitsu article on the same topic also notes that employees were not getting their overtime pay, nor were they well-compensated for working on public holidays. The Google Translation of the original Japanese story is a bit dry and difficult to follow (as is to be expected from a computer translation) but specific words such as "forge" and "impersonation" hint at the kind of trouble Tecmo could be facing before this is all over.

Whatever happens, we just hope that the talent from Tecmo's various projects all end up alright and get the compensation they deserve. We're certainly no experts, but from what we hear, Japanese game devs (heck, game devs in general) are run pretty ragged and really do deserve their bonuses ...

It´s from doacentral.com - very interesting...

I think it´s completely over now for TECMO. I´m very exited about that new game, what was planned for the E3 in L.A. from TECMO. Do they show it after all this?

I know, TECMO is not that communicative. They show their stuff, when it´s done or nearly look great.

The first video of DoA4 seen at the E3 was fantastic. If they started to create DoA5 in 2006, it could be finished to 60 - 80 %!!

What ever, 2 weeks, and we´ll see more! =)

Itagaki made some great games with Tecmo. DOA and Ninja Gaiden were my favorites on XBOX. I do want to see more from the series but I dont know if they'll be able to do it without him. He wasnt afraid to speak his mind in interviews and had a real personality that showed in his games (I thought so anyway)
he evenhas his own wiki page!
Im looking foreward to see what his next game will be. And whats up with this sexual assault charge? Git your **** together Itagaki you cant let those females break you!

still I dont think we should count out Team Ninja just yet.

I don´t agree! The Xbox360 is a very powerful machine like the PS3. Dead or Alive 4 looks so great on it! TECMO did a good job with the 360 and the upcoming games on it will be great too.

I watch out for DoA5 - maybe on both platforms.

For the future - don´t push Sony that much - the costumer services are really bad and sony makes promises and can´t hold anything. However, MS is making mistakes too, but they are straight and smart enough to learn from mistakes. Sony don´t.

Okay, thanks for reading, later =)

Couldn't agree more AyaneLover I would like to see Tecmo treat all consoles equally in terms of content...pity it will never happen.
