I finally got a fighting arcade stick and what is the experience so far? well...I dunno

That is the one I got as other arcade sticks were really expensive!

I've never tried an arcade stick before until I tried it on a MvC3 machine and for my first time experience, I didn't do bad in fact I won a match O_o (considering the game was new and wasn't released yet).

The feeling of using an arcade stick is quite different and playing on an arcade machine cannot be toppled, console cannot compare to arcade machines.

I said before that lately playing fast paced games or games that requires fast motion actions are giving me cramps- Vanquish challenge 6 and fast pace fighting games like MvC series. So I invested in an arcade stick to see if I'll get a different experience.

Well this arcade stick I got works, the button reponse very well however the stick is too loose making it hard to move or dash forward and backwards. If you try moving forward, the input would be down or jumping so to make the action execute you have to be forceful.

And I'm getting another cramps on my hands:/
Its either my fighting days are over or I need to count down on slow paced fighting games.

And when you see fighting fans talk about custom arcade stick, using Swanse, hori buttons what ever it's called. Those things means business because they give you a high response when command.

I tried playing MvC with the arcade stick, it worked, using Wolverine allowed me to be faster than using a controller, but it was DIFFICULT to pull off supers/hypers!

When I tried SFAlpha 3, I could barely pull off shoryuken, hurricane kick and couldn't even pull off any supers.

Marvel vs Street Fighter's reponse was fine.

Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, rarely pulled off parry, could not even pull off shinku hadou ken, rarely pulled off Denki Hadouken (lvl 3).

Men it's all messed up. I just need to try this arcade with a 3d fighting game, which I do not have in my possession at the moment.

But I would advise people, if you take fighting games seriously and you think you are tough. Definitely invest on Arcade stick. Trust me, you will be surprised that 70% of the reason you loose online is because people use Macros and Turbos.
I hate macros so much, it basically allows you to pull off super/hyper move with 1 button push.

Especially when playing fast paced game with arcade stick, I knew the moves but trying to pull it off felt like I was button bashing ALL the time. And the Logic 3 stick makes so much noise man O_o, felt like I was having a go at the arcade stick.

Only try arcade stick if you want to change your play style or getting more serious with your game.

I'm an arcade stick user. The DOA series has been toned down from arcades to consoles, so much that there really isn't a need for one. Using a high end 3rd party controller will be just fine. Nowadays all controllers have turbo and macros functionality. Turbo/macros does not work in fighting games, I don't know why anyone would use it. In DOA it's optional, Arcade Stick = Controller

As for fighting games with an arcade release ( SF, BB, AH, MB, KOF ect... )... GL playing with a pad lol.

If you need any advice on sticks let me know...

I play DOA with a stick Cool

Here are some pics of my DOA stick. Hori & Team Ninja - Officially licensed by MS.

screw this man.
I'm selling my arcade stick.

I would only recommend using Arcade stick if:
*you want to be serious in fighting game
*want precision in accuracy execution
*want to play with the big elites
*having problems executing moves
*get cramps, finger slips or too slow to execute moves.

Apart from the above, just stick to controllers.

The logic pro arcade stick works fine, the stick is just the problem. Always hard to successfully make the character move to the right(forward path) or even run.

gonna use money to buy Turtle beach ps3 headset insteadSmiler

A lot of my friends going to try Arcade Sticks at the moment.

Yeah, it´s very different to play with them. I tried it by myself a few times and it´s really hard if you played the last 16 years with a controller. How ever, I´m gonna try it again. =)
