Hi All

With the news that Itagaki is leaving everyone is wondering what will happen next. I'm sure they listen to the gaming community so maybe we should tell them what should happen next. Should Tecmo continue on with the DOA series dragging along useless additional characters with storylines prolonged past the point of being interesting or should they just start over? Start a new series with a fresh new cast of cliché stereotypes and storylines. A chance to discard the poor choices of additional characters and other characters who have become rather pointless and trivial. Also DOA4 wrapped up many storylines what with DOATEC being destroyed what's next? Helena and company nuke the fridge and join Shia LaBeouf in searching for a magnetic alien skull? (though I still liked the movie someone explain to me how an alien race can technologically progress if they can't even hammer in a nail without having both flying into their face?) Perhaps it's time to say goodbye to the DOA series and start a new series. If Tecmo chooses to go that way let me take this time to say goodbye to some of the worst additions to the world of gaming...

And last but certainty not least...

Alpha 152... The cheapest, lamest and most annoying boss ever created to punish gamers

Now there will be some characters that people will miss but fortunately there are other fighting games out there who have their share of kick ass and/or busty characters and for those who will miss Christie fear not for the original Christie *cough Ivy cough* is still out there :P

I would be very happy to see Tecmo put out the newest games on XBOX360 and PS3.

I just hope Tecmo continues to launch with Microsoft though. Ive seen new DOAs for 2 generations now and its great.

Keep making DOA, or a game like it with the same and more characters.

I'd love to see a DOA 2 remake on the PS3, it's my favorite one... Oh and it shouldn't have cheap AI!

Please release a collection of your fighters for PS3. We as the fans deserve to have the very best.

I also think the Japanese fan's will be very happy to play on there PS3's too... (youll gain more fans and money by going multi platform too)

They shouldnt go multi platform.
DOA is the xbox flagship fighter.
As with tekken and the ps3.
One thing DOA5 needs is a good customization mode.

If DOA is the flagship fighter then why will SF4 and KI3 get more publicity?

Microsoft goes with what makes "them" money. DOA is the flagship fighter because its the "only" fighter...LOL.

DOA would kick @$$ on PS3.

As far as I know there aren't any new DOAs that have been formally announced. So why would Microsoft hype DOA4 which is more than 2 years old now? Anyway KI3 is just a rumor right now and SF4 is being hyped by the people who are publishing the game, Capcom. I haven't seen any hype from Microsoft themselves concerning these games yet.
DOA was and may still be their flagship fighter depending on how things play out in the future.

hi umm im new but i really hope tecmo decides to continue doa. i've been a really big fan of doa since doa2 on the dreamcast, it has always been my favorite fighting game and the genre of the game is cool decent story and everything i've been waiting for doa5 since i've finished helena's story mode lol. and alpha-152 is a cheap boss believe me i've beaten her on all difficulties in story and time attack mode im in love with that game. i find it very sad tecmo let mr.Itagaki go he the man for making the series of doa and ninja gaiden love those cool shades but, now with him gone its like a unfinished book for doa. Im pretty sure if tomonobu itagaki leaves tecmo wont be the same may not be as popular may not make as much money. But thats all i wanted to say.

if doa had a customization mode it would kinda cool but i dont think that would be good tekken fans saying doa stole a mode. Multi-platform no doa needs to stay where it has always been on xbox although i would like to see the doa girls back in there xbox costumes and the graphics of doa has to change thats about it some what like the graphics of vf5 then many people would love it

Im not saying the games have to go multiplatform but after playing SIGMA its really really hard to play any other Team Ninja game.

Wherever TECMO goes I go. The only reason I rant about PS3 is because of the beauty witnessed in my home by SIGMA. If XBOX products continue to see the first titles available to us from TECMO? Thats great! But SIGMA still looks damm good. In my eyes it looks as good as MGS4. DOA4 and DOAx2 but why not NG2?

I think we as the fans need to hear some news about where Tecmo is taking the fans...

If we stay with the XBOX360 and prepare to see new Tecmo products with the next iteration of X, then thats fine. But for the fans.... stick to your guns.

I´pe they keep on making Dead or Alive Games! Hopefully DoA5 on the XBOX360!

Tekken is with Sony, DoA is with Microsoft and that´s okay.

BTW, why do all the people think, that DoA will come or should come for the PS3?? Why? There´s no reason! That people who love DoA since DoA 3 or Ultimate did have a Xbox console!! That was 6 years ago!

DOA is a MICROSOFT Game since that time...and this game is a TOP-Seller. Why should it be better on the PS3?

Let me tell you, I´m NOT a Sony or a PS3 Hater (I´ll buy a PS3, when FF13 is coming out) but some games are exclusive, and some not.

1: I think they should continue with DOA. Cause Midway and Mortal Kombat have left their roots and the games have been sucking.
2: I personally love Sony and dislike Microsoft. The ONLY reason I bought an Xbox 360 was to play DOA but I'd much rather play it on PS3. I'd rather play anything on a Sony system than a Microsoft system. Lucky for me Soul Calibur 4 than has DV is the one for the PS3.

Since DOA2 Hardcore, I bought all DOA and ninja Gaiden titles. The franchise is well known for the nice graphic, lightning effect, difficutly, and extra content. I think there is alot of thing to improve without changing the actual serie core content.

Including weapons fighting
More duo combo/attack or even technique.
New costumes
Longer storyline battle
Costumizing our fighter like we could in DOAx and DOAx2
Little side games with dummy training
Create more battle area design for each character

I could debate alot more on new content but this is not what this post is all about. My answer is clear, DOA serie is one of the best one on the market atm, also very succesful, tecmo always did a good job and I beleive there's still much to come for us, fan of the franchise.

Midway is now own by Warner Bros. But you are right MK has kinda suck lately. That's why I have been playing DOA. I wish they remake DOA for the PS3. It's the only system I own.

They should keep on with the DOA series. There are some thing I'd actually love to see them get edgier with, and I hope they'll work on that too.
