I HAVE TO SAY IN BOLD DEAD OR ALIVE DESERVES A PS3 TITLE END THE FANBOY COMMENTS I WANT DOA. its only fair DOA IS THE MOST INTENSE FAST PACE FIGHTING GAME I'VE SEEN. srry had to break the silence i own sigma causin owns sigma collectors edition & we both pre-ordered sigma 2 Collectors Edition. I Look Forward to ordering DOA on PS3 Multiplatform cause no one should miss out on Team Ninjas Games. Team Ninja is becoming my fav third party this gen with Ninja Gaiden alone & can honestly say DOA will crown them i love Tecmo games & cant wait for Quantum. Shogun i respect you want doa but i do also just dont have a 360 yet but thats why i gotta agree with Deathcom. PS3 is my main platform now & will be from here on. but i believe multiplatform games is excellent for gamers & developers, Gamers get games Developers get the profits for the extra effort hopefully we all prosper from entertainment.

DOA should even be on PS3 no doubt:/

Every developers are starting to go multiplatform with their exclusives.

Devil May Cry goes on Xbox 360
Ninja Gaiden goes on PS3.

Tekken goes to Xbox 360
so DOA should go to PS3.

The fact is, PS2 actually had 2 DOA2 releases on that console. So basically it already debuted on the PS platform.

even if we ignore the past . the only way to satisfy the 360 owners , PS3 owners and Team ninja itself is by going multiplatform .so now one is left without the game and no one is to say he got cheated or fooled by a different release.
but it happens ,are they going to use all the space of the blue ray and if they do how would them deal with on the 360.
anyway I have a good feeling it will go multiplat .

Later they should release the definite edition on PS3/Beast with insane extras.

what you are saying is highly expected given the fact that Tecmo will work on making the most income out of the game , and by doing what you've expected they will insure them self a market on the 360 and later another one on the PS3 for the same game don't forget those fans who will buy the game twice, some just for having both versions (kind hearted fans) and some for enjoying the extra features,but of course by doing so they will take another step toward shrinking their fans and market on the 360 and forcing them selfes to move and make a bigger substitude on the PS3 .Yet selling a multiplat game will make a fairly good income but this way they will keep their base on the 360 while they work hard to expand on the ps3 ,so the time of releasing the game and the effect sigma 2 will have on PS3 players will decide it all of cours all I'm doing is making theories backed by such little experience. now you tell me why you thought of the beta version. and do you think they will simply port it to the ps3.

Fans who buy the game twice!? Well that's the whole point of being a loyal fan. You'll get what ever a developer throws at you based on your fanatic. I mean, you see these people buying a DS, later buying DS Lite and now buying DSi. Same thing with PsP users; buying PsP, buying PsP 3oooo and now they will re-buy PsP G0! To me, it doesn't matter, because I'll buy the original, if they bring a new item, I'll sell the original and re-buy the new item! I'm not the stupid idiot wasting money on trash.

I don't get that part, but how can they shrink their fans? Don't you mean, they'll shrink their Xbot fans. I mean think of the logic. They release a game on Xbox full of buys and sh*. Later release it for PS3 with fixed bugs and TONS of sh* contents. What fanbase would shrink?

Well I don't think DOA5 will have a beta version and be ported to the PS3. I just hope it does have a beta verison and ported version. Image having DOA5 with limited contents, if they ported it to PS3, we get MORE contents like Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. So which one do you want?

Look at Resident Evil 4 for an example.
It was a huge success for the Gamecube, but how many people owned a Gamecube? Capcom ported the game to the PS2 with a few added contents. INSANE users with a PS2 bought the PS2 version making Capcom earn more money. Since Capcom are greedy, they ported the same game to the PC.

So you get it, the more the port a game to a different platform depending on how successful it is, the more money they make!

yes but by repeatedly providing extra content to clients outside their fanbase will make them 360 fanboys (nearly all of 360 owners) feel frustrated and angered which will finally drive them away from tecmo . you can't deny that , and they must think of keeping their market before working on making another one (it's common since) .sure the fixed bugs and extra content are great and I really want them. but thats not the question , the question is what will they do ? is sigma 2 going the decide it all or is it decided by tecmo already .the method they are working on their productions right now is really annoying to PS3 owners(games reach us late) and to 360 owners (extra content and better games of the 360 versions) this is going from bad to worse .

Nope, they will simple keep buying their games.

Take a look at Koei's games. All they ever produce are Dnasty Warrior titles...nothing eles! They've milked the franchise to death, yet every time they release a new game, fans still buy the latest games.


Yes it's annoying to have games late, but in the end it's worth it!

Marvel vs Capcom 2 came out on Xbox 360. PS3 verison came out late, BUT; it came with a retail version that included some sweet extras.

Getting a game early with limited amount of contents, or getting it late with fixed issues and TONS of extras?

don't keep asking me what I want ! the whole world knows what i want. it's exactly what you said the extra featured bug fixed game . but what I've been talking about all this time is trying to study the future of this muliplat dilemma that keeps ruining my mood every time a multiplat or a port is out ! you asked what I want . let me tell you what the rest of the world knows , what I want is that the game is to be made from scratch for the ps3, because when you choose a platform for which the game WILL be made, every feature of the game will look and work and function properly and as intended, and for a team like TN it will look way better than even sigma 2(assuming they can properly use the ps3) //look at GOW & uncharted // all of multiplat games where developed on 360(easier and way more simple) then at the end of production time ported (mostly in hast and done poorly) to the ps3 which will give us ps3 owners a game less in quality than its 360 version working on a way more powerful console.

So in other words .I promiss you that the game if made for the ps3 from ground zero . and you said it your self that sigma was built over the xbox base . which I consider weak and thus weakening the game as a whole. I mean common where I live you can buy any xbox 360 game for about 7.03$ .the console isn't even capable of protecting hard working 3rd party ppl. there is literally no one who would think of buying an original here .

It really annoyes me off the most.

Multiplatform games always looks better on Xbox 360. All these trash and lazy developers keep saying PS3 is really hard to develop on. Yet you see games like Uncharted and Killzone 2 with amazing graphics.

The company that irritates me off the most is Valve, saying PS3 is complex.


One thing I want about multiplatform games, is they should always have their exclusivity to each its own.

oh yea . the price drop will only mean more ps3 owners to fill in the place of the DOA players of the 360. so in case they decide to not produce a 360 version , here's one more reason . yet of course they shouldn't ,it's just not right to do that , I know how would they feel since it happened when they took it from the ps2. it was so painful that I'm still going through therapy .

I do want all Tecmo games to be on PS3.
I had the first Xbox and (for some money reason) i couldnt buy all the others japanese games that were released on PS2...
So i bought a PS3 for this new generation (i didnt want to do the same mistake)
I really miss a good DOA,and a good DOA XTREM on my PS3...
I think many people are in the same situation as me...
Tecmo should do something...They are losing huge money i think...
Many people dont buy Xbox360 because of the typically american games on that platform
(all these First Person Shooter which sets "bad russians, bad europeans, bad asians, bad ...the list concerning american national socialism is too long...")
