Soul Calibur has brought in Guest Characters for its games, usually with exclusivity to each console. If DOA 5 comes out for both system who would you like to see from the world of video games make an appearance for each system ?

Well i have alway thought it would be a killer fight if Mai Shiranui vs Kasumi....so mai shiranui from KOF

I don't think DOA needs guest characters. I rather they focus on creating new characters instead of worry on how to include a foreign character into DOA.

look at the EPIC fail of that halo woman!

DOA doesn't need foreign characters, it needs new ones like Kokoro and Elliot!

Soul Calibur 2 nailed it.

Soul calibur 4 nailed it with original characters designed by manga artists.

I'm not a fanboy ( i'm actually a girl ) I just hate Halo and all the hype its gets even though its meh.

they nailed it with copy n past moves.
surely everyone who has played Soul Calibur series are familiar with their copy n paste fighting moves for new characters:/

Actually I loved half life on the PC, but now adays I prefer metal gear solid 4 and play it often online.

I disagree. I think that Spartan is definitely a viable character in DOA4. Just because her moves aren't as complex as s others doesn't mean she isn't a good character to use.

guest characters never fell like you can get into them. I loved the idea of the characters designed by famous manga artists in Soul calibur 4 but when I played as them I prefered the ACTUAL SK4 characters, the guests were well designed but had no depth like the other characters, no history.

but as for spartan? she was just a one time random tat poorly tacked on, what do I mean by poorly? because its random. Imagine a gundam in tekken as a guest, imagine tiger woods in street fighter it just makes no sense.

does DOA take place in the halo universe? or vice versa?

guest characters work best when they are designed from scratch like in soul calibur 4 but thats all they will ever be, guests.

I completely disagree. I think Spartan is a completely legitimate character to use. I use her all the time, and I rarely lose with her.
