Also we only saw DOA posters in NG, though it was only for Ninja Gaiden black. They tried to promote on of their own games which was DOAU2. We also see DOA posters in NG2/S2 because well time is not ahead of Team NINJA so it would also be wise to put a poster of their own game and since DOA does connect to NG.
Once again it was unknown and wrong for putting Ayane in NG in the first place. Still no back story or reason WHY Ayane helps Ryu Hayabusa. You made it sound as if Kasumi had a big role in NGS2. She was only a cameo for DOA fanservice. Doesn't literally means she's actually in the game, just a cameo.


DOA character don’t have to be apart of NG but the Mugen Tenshin the connection to the Mugen Tenshin is apart of Ryu, Ryu protects Kasumi and Hayates his best friend these are thing that you cant avoid, and then you have things like the worlds coming under attack and the Mugen Tenshin are no where to be seen, it only messes up NG by not having any mention of the Mugen TenshinOnce again, you made it sound as if DOA is loosely based on all Ninja characters in the game. Like I said before, remember the character affection to each other which has something to do with their tagging. I mean, why would Ryu wanna tag with Gen Fu? I can say characters like Jan Lee does connect with Ryu, since Ryu tries to stop Jan Lee from defeating opponents he underestimates. What about Ryu and Bayman?

The only character that have to be added to NG that are from DOA are Hayate, Kasumi and Ayane No they are not, just because they are ninjas doesn't mean anything relating to ninjas is connected to Ryu. Characters Ryu can tag along with can be added to NG not just the ninjas.

Like I think Ayane and Momiji could be friends, because if Ayanes running between the Hayabusa and the Mugen Tenshin she’s bound to run in to Momiji and Momiji is a lot like Kasumi, in terms of being innocent and every thing, so we could have Ayane still looking for a friend to replace Kasumi and this could also fit in with the DOA4 ending, sort of like Ayane has no more reason for being jealous of Kasumi henc stopping her from entering the fire,:/

This is the main problem with video game franchises!
Developers are always using the same things and recycled things to build a sequence in the end they call it new game. And it's always Nintendo and SEGA who abuse these things with their games Zelda, Mario and Sonic. Always the same crap. Then you have other people who are willingly to make the franchise vast and new: like giving Shadow a gun in Sonic game, introducing Nero to DMC series or even allowing us to know more about Metroid history. We never get to know anything about Samus Aran, Nintendo are always sticking to the same cheap shots and cliched gameplay whereas we have developers like Retro Studios who are willingly trying to build up the Metroid Story. Another thing I love so much is Metroid Other M: Team NINJA changed the way Samus fights, rather than the same cliched ways Nintendo are always using.

This is exactly the same situation with you, you want the same developed characters from DOA and NG but given deeper story. Rather than having new characters introduced that can connect with previous developed characters.

Rachel was the better character added in NG the worst being Sonia, they got to keep Rachel, but if they where going to add more NG original characters then it should be characters like Momiji and Joe,

Im all for bringing in new characters but as for playable Hayate should come first, the girls in NGS2 where brilliant but when playing as one of the girls I always had the feeling that I was moving down to a weaker character, Momiji and Rachel are way off Ryu’s level and Ayane was slightly closer but still weaker then Ryu, and if they bring in new characters there just going tobe characters that are all weaker then Ryu, but with Hayate, you got Ryu’s equal you got clan status, you get the expansion of the NG universe by adding a new clan, and you also got ever back story, not only for clan ties but for RyuSonia was added because she's a replacement for Irene, the original love of Ryu in classic NG.

Why should Hayate come first? you are only commenting out of your biased view and opinion. I know you love Hayate and favour him, but that doesn't mean he NEEDS to be the next character to be added. Unless you provide a strong point that proves he should be the next added character.
As for the character's sensation. That's how they were meant to be played. If Ayane feels weaker than Ryu, then that's how it's meant to be because she can't match Ryu. But has for gameplay, the girls are broken except for Rachel.

And why should adding a new character feel weaker than Ryu!? You are just thinking inside the box rather than open minded or outside the box.

I'm saying they are still two different games doing their things.
I mean if a city was bombed by an atom, should it be noted that a city was destroyed in both NG and DOA???
DOA and NG are just set in the same Universe but part of their story connects. It's like super heroes, Spiderman and Superman are in the same planet and continent but things that happens in their city doesn't affect one another.

Didn’t Hayashi say he’d be bringing Momiji to DOA any way and Rachel can already be seen in DOA, He never said such thing. He only said Rachel is an important character for Team NINJA and can be used for in/for other things.




Ayane did win the DOA3 but disappeared after killing Omega so the money was handed to Zack, I can’t remember if it was handed to Zack because he was runner up or because all the other ninjas disappeared as well Who said she won it:/ I only follow legit information that were confirmed by developers, written in the box art, manual or in-game. I don't like to make up my own story even though it would make sense. Like how people argue if RE2 took place before RE3. It clearly states that Zack won the tournament and used the money to build Zack's island. You made it sound as if Genra was the top tier list, who ever beats him wins the prize and is the winner of DOA.
Like I said, it doesn't work that way, if they made a movie out of this, you'll know the tournament wouldn't play like the fight sequences in the game.


***For an example, I can make my opinion and say. The top tier list WAS Genra, Ryu+Ayane+Kasumi+Hayate+Zack+Unknown were in the semi finals. Ryu and Hayate fought for the person to take on Genra. Same goes with Ayane and Kasumi. Ryu won but was counter attacked and defeated by Genra (Basically Genra sensed stronger opponents who were the ninjas). Ayane won by defeating Kasumi. Genra basically broke his rule by engaging in combat with underling fighters who haven't advanced in rank yet. Thus this gave Ayane a chance to defeat Genra in process. However Zack defeated the Unknown opponent allowed him to advanced to the finals, thus making him the winner of DOA.***

It's all about building up story.

About Gen Fu taking the nose of Gen Fu, yes that's true. Because it was confirmed by a cutscene. But there wasn't any confirmation or hint for DOA 3, so your answer is clearly opinion.

and I hate it when these half assed characters are given preference over character such as Ayane Kasumi and Hayete, cos any one of them dose more for NG’s story then SoniaJust because NG is connected to DOA doesn't mean the characters needs to be in the same game. You are forgetting that these two are still two completely different game. Some people who have played DOA haven't even played NG, same can be said vice versa.
That is why I say Ryu has his own game called NG and I by no mean assume that DOA isn't connected to NG. I want more unique and new characters for NG rather than DOA piling up on Ryu's beastly game.
I want to pick up a NG game and find new characters not DOA character all the time.
It's exactly the same thing with Kasumi appearing as a cameo, people are always wondering who that character is. People in here like Final Blade kept saying he wants to know more about this Kasumi that appeared in NGS2 and she needs to star in NGS2 DLC or NG3. That's the problem, if they keep doing cross overs, these games will not be unique but will be a chance to ruin the franchise and make money out of both franchise.
Because if you want to know about Kasumi, you need to buy DOA games.
