Tecmo are extremely stupid!

how do they expect to build a fanbase if they keep switching consoles?? lets take a look at their history;

Arcade, dreamcast, PS1, PS2, xbox, xbox 360, PSP, 3DS.

the worst thing is that most of those games have been exclusive to that specific console!! do they seriously expect us to buy ALL of those consoles just to keep up with the DOA series??

I am a HUUUGE DOA fan but Tecmo has really pushed me to my limit with this.

you know a game on a hand-held console is no major project.
still it pays good money but not an achievement, you know when you say GOW series you think GOW1 & 2 & 3, and you forget about "hains of olympus"right .
so since 2005 there was no true DOA game .
and if you review the dates of release of all of DOA games you see that the longest period was 3 years and now it's been nearly 5 years, so the forgotten series wont come back to the market through hand-held consoles and TK are stupid if they don't know that.
I may feel stupid if no real DOA game was released , but not as they would feel when they discover that they killed the series.

I still hope for a DOA5 and maybe someday after this 3DS portable mess is over we might see another DOA fighter or maybe a Ninja gaiden instead.

But theres still the posibility that mega rich nintendo will keep them making metroid games and tecmo not caring about fans and only wanting money will stay at nintendo. Maybe even making DOA5 on the wii. (-_-)

but one thing is for certain, Tecmo won't tell its fans until the very last minute.

there will be a multiplat NG. didn't they already say so? but what I fear is a very late DOA , or a serious shift in consoles targeted.
well it's up to them to decide the future of the DOA series, while it's up to us to decide if we buy the game or not .

I'm saying now that I decide not to buy DOA 3DS. If its got a story I can just watch the cut scenes on youtube.

It's been quite a while since there was DOA news to lead me back to this site... but sadly it's only to add my complaint to the fire.

Seriously Tecmo, get back in the game here! We want a NEW DOA on a CONSOLE platform. Or if you want to try something new, make an all new weapon based fighter using some DOA characters, some Ninja Gaiden characters (Rachel please) and hell, borrow a whole mess of Dynasty Warriors. Make something to give Soulcalibur a run for its money! (project Soul needs a good kick in the ass these days anyway)

Team Ninja should be just about done with Metroid, so its time get them working on fighters again!

Tecmo europe announced that Ninja gaiden and also Samurai AND Dynasty warriors will be on the 3DS too!

Maybe Big N is giving the developers a lot of bribes.......errr financial incentives to develop in their platform?

Though the difference is their facial expression seems to be deep and sharp.

Look at their facial expressions, it seems to give more personality unlike previous DOA style.

(for people wondering about the text japanese information, I've searched online. Apparently there really isn't any important information but Hayashi is the director and it supports 1-2 players.)

This sounds to me that DOA Dimensions will be 3d modelled but gameplay will be in 2.5d aspect. Basically like SF4. This is cool, we'll see how it plays since they won't be 8 way run.

I'd get the 3DS if you can hook it up a big bad TV set. No sense straining your eyes on a weee screen when you can marvel at the horsepower of the purported 3D power of the 3DS.

Tecmo for heaven's sake just because you got chummy with Other M (which is just as awesome) please return DOA back to the PS3!

And, why'd they drop the 8way run? Can't the system handle it?

Btw, the Psp is just a portable PS2 so technically, there's no comparison with the supposed #D rendering power of the 3DS.........then again only time will tell that is.........

Nintendo hasn't done this sort of thing before (I'm not sure since I never owned any handheld).

But I'll try and get a 3DS, because I like 3D and support it, it's starting to get hardcore titles in 3D, it has DOA and NG on it and it's fully backwards with other DS/GBA.

Of course DOA will go back to ps3, I think TK are now multiplatform and no longer do exclusives.

And I wouldn't go as far as saying there isn't a comparison towards 3DS and PsP if PsP is just a miniaturized version of a PS2.
3DS has better graphics than PS2 O_o, it's like Xbox 1's graphics but without the shaders and bump mapping xbox acquired.

So more or less a mini Xbox? All the more I would want DOA to be appreciated on a wider screen.

Btw xino, there was an option to connect the GBA to the Gamecube. Not quite sure if the 3DS has the same compatibility with the Wii.

Besides the user friendly (though DOA4 was waaaaay too cheap in the AI department) game play, Team Ninja really excels in the graphics department. The Ladies,CGI movies or environmental interactive effects which was light years ahead of Tekken , their work is really a piece of art.

Arrrrrrrgh...........I just can't wait for the next console version! D@mn the wait is killing me!
