Massachusetts Legislation

I would say that something like this could end up having a huge impact on the American Video Games industry. If it passes it is very likely that others states will follow suit. This will likely effect what get made and what doesn't.

While I do think some games take things a little bit too far like Manhunt series I will say that I haven't played a game or seen one yet that I would say is worse than an R rated film, which children are allowed to see with their parents. In the vast majority of cases parents are likely the ones to purchase M rated games for their kids. So in the end I think it should be up to the parents to decide rather than the state unless you feel that it is up to the state to raise children.

Also aren't there more pressing problems in America that they should be focused on fixing rather than wasting tax payer's money on what violent movies and video games get released?

What do you think?
