Now we all know that the secret game Team NINJA were working on dubbed Project Progressive is Metroid Other M.

But what happened to the other project progressive Team NINJA talked about?












Well it seems to me that this project was scrapped, when Itagaki was gone, the new project progressive evolved to Metroid with Nintendo.

It was meant to be an action game:
Project Progressive is next in the hot seat. Itagaki refers to the game as being a new challenge for Tecmo. The genre is action, but we can expect a completely different type of action from what was featured in Ninja Gaiden. Development was actually done on the original Xbox, but, like Code: Cronus, was switched to Xbox 360.
