The board is doing so good on its own, please keep up the good work on self restraint and moderation........ But, looks like some rules have to be dug up and posted again for some users so here they are.

1) These forums are for fans to chat with one another. Tecmo doesn't read them with any sort of regularity. (Brian pops in occasionally in forums for games which are about to be, or are recently, released but he doesn't follow conversations.) If you have comments or suggestions for the company, email them directly -you can see a list of the employees on the staff section of the webpage. (Don't pester the us, We are just forum moderators, We don't have contact with the developers or testers in Japan, and limited contact with the US marketing office.)

2) All content needs to be G-rated. These forums are frequented by Tecmo's customers from all walks of life, including kids (Tecmo does make some kids' games.) and their parents. Adult customers would like to be able to visit the forums at work without worries about harrassment lawsuits if a co-worker sees their computer screen. Posting material that is not G-rated, and linking to non-G-rated material will result in banning without warning.

Attempts to evade the word filter through use of alternate characters, 'elite' type, etc. will result in banning without warning. Repeated use of foul language will result in banning. Just because a word isn't filtered doesn't make it approved for use. We cannot possible filter every possible objectionable word, alternate spelling or slang phrase without slowing the server down to the point of being unusable. Infractions may not be noticed immediately by moderators. Length of time posted is not an indication of moderator approval. If a post is deemed inappropriate, it, and the poster, will be dealt with at the moderators' convenience.

3) If allowed, Signature pictures need to be hosted on your own webspace. Companies use software to see who is stealing bandwidth, and they will contact Tecmo to complain. Also, pictures need to be UNDER 300pixels high. All links and pics need to be G-rated and family friendly. We try to warn people about signatures, but violators who ignore warnings will be banned, and those with excessive sigs that generate complaints will be banned without warning.

4) Spamming, flooding, trolling, flaming, disruptive posting, discussion of illegal activities (including, but not limitd to: ROMs, warez MP3s and cracks), discussion of cheat devices, discussion hacking the game, sexually explicit discussion, racist/hate discussion, and anything else deemed offensive will result in banning without warning.

5) Posts may be deleted or locked at any time. This is not a permanent archive. Off topic posts will either be moved to the appropriate forum, or deleted. The general off topic area here is called Gamer's Corner.
