I have to give some props to Blade. All Marvel efforts before it were failures (The first Fantastic Four, Captain America and The Punisher). Without it you probably wouldn't be seeing as many Marvel films as you do/will. Hulk, Fantastic Four, The Punisher, Spiderman, X-men, Dare Devil, Elektra, and the upcoming Ghost Rider.

Ghost Rider trailer. Another off shoot of the Faust story, which has it's own comic book that I can't discuss.
Hopefully it doesn't end up being all about the special effects like Spawn. Now that's a comic that deserved a good movie.

Possible pic from the Transformers movie set. The movie is real and they were supposed to have a casting call for 18-23 year old males to play high school students recently for the film but the real question is is this a fake. There have been other fakes for this film on the internet before.

Iron Man is getting good deal of positive reviews and one of my friends who is also into comic books(more mainstream stuff than the offbeat and underground like myself.) says it was an awesome movie(midnight viewing). I don't totally trust him on this because he liked the newest Punisher and LXG but he doesn't like total stinkers and he is very picky about how Hollywood handles comic book films. It seems that it was a good thing that Cruise got replaced because it from what I hear is that Downey is the one that made the whole thing work. So if you want a break from playing GTA4 or are currently waiting for the next big game(NG2) to come out you might as well go see Iron Man in the meantime.

I went and saw it earlier today. I liked it but depending on the way you accept the way Marvel has been taking the direction of their characters in the wake of Civil War could affect the way some people take the movie. I'd go into more detail but it would be a huge spoiler if I did. Needless to say I overheard several people talking about it in the theater when the movie ended.
