Marvel now has creative control over all adaptations of their comic books. This is the best way to protect a company's IP.(Are you listening Capcom and Tecmo.) Marvel Studios will be producing the films themselves. So there shouldn't be too many stinkers coming from them I hope. We'll see how the next Hulk film turns out.
Offtopic: Did you guys hear that they are making another Street Fighter film? You would think that they learned their lesson from the first film.
Edit: I should say that all new film franchises are under their control. Sequels to films like the Punisher are still under the control of the studio that licensed them.

I've just got back from seeing The Dark Knight and I'm thinking of making a change to the list before the weekend is over. It is one of the best comic book films that I have seen and I would say better than all of the previous Batman films. Just not sure where to place it yet.
Like the majority of the films I recommend, don't expect "the feel good movie of the year" when you go to see it. ------------------------------------------------ Watchmen TrailerGreat Graphic Novel but I'm hoping the movie won't feel as dry as 300.

Well the weekend is over and I'm still not sure where to put it. I'm going to watch Spiderman 2 again and if I feel that it still belongs in the number 1 spot. TDK deserves to be either 1 or 2.
