This also falls into the "duh" category. I view Natal just like I view the Live platform. It is just a stepping stone for what they have planned in the future. Natal 1 may have been compromised but if they are able to fulfill most of their promises with just the tri-core Xbox 360 imagine what they will be able to do with the ?-core successor which is certainly guaranteed to have more than 3 core and the addition of compute shaders in next gen GPUs. ------------------------------------------------
NOT official but nikkei says - 3D Stick - vibration pack - tilt sensor under decision - wireless connection speed up - battery life up - smaller than 4" screen
Rumor from GDC. 1) Two screens, with virtually no seam between them when open 2) Screens are higher resolution, but exact resolution is unknown 3) Powered by nVidia Tegra(nVidia involvement was announced around the same time that AMD announced that they were working on the next Xbox.) 4) Roughly as powerful as a Gamecube, and apparently similar to program for 5) Uses carts - believed to be same size as DS/DSi carts, only with different guts 6) Due out in 2010 in at least one territory
The following is just an idea that has been floating around but is not rumored to be a part of the new handheld. If this handheld were capable of head tracking it would add an extra layer of 3D capability to this machine or any other handheld to be released to the market.
As you can see you would be capable of doing it with current hardware(the two camera's in the DSi). There is no info that it will be part of handheld though.

Despite being the “final instalment”, the next game will simply “conclude the current story arc”
Anyone who’s been following the games industry for any amount of time should know all too well by now that a “final chapter” is normally anything but. Step forward Gears of War 3.
“The epic story concludes” – that was the tag line that accompanied the leaked confirmation of the game on Xbox Live last week. But following in the footsteps of fellow Xbox 360 stable mate Master Chief (“Halo 3: Finish the Fight”), it seems that Microsoft has plenty more in store for its popular series.
This morning’s press material for the game that accompanied its official reveal of Gears of War 3 on the Jimmy Fallon show in the US last night makes the following statement:
“Developed by acclaimed studio Epic Games and available only on Xbox 360, Gears of War 3 plunges players into a harrowing tale of hope, survival, and brotherhood that will conclude the current story arc for Gears of War.”
Halo ODST, Halo Wars, Halo Reach. That’s all we’re saying.

I admit that I have a hard time totally wrapping my head around the game possibilities with this, outside of certain novelty games we already see on the Wii, but I don't get paid to do so. I'm not going to give a great deal of thought to this outside of the occasional fleeting idea most of which would not convince someone to spend that much money on it. We'll see soon enough what devs, who do get paid to do so, have been cooking up but those ideas better be amazing.
