How do you get the Ryu Pre-order costume? Because I have pre-ordered my copy NGS2 Collector's Edition, and I don't know how to get the pre-order sotume unlocked. Help Please!

If you pre-ordered it online then check the email address inbox or spam you used when ordering it online, it should be listed.
^ this is the method I used when Pre-ordering.

If you pre-ordered in the store they should have given you a card with the code on it, if they didn't then bring your receipt back to the store and ask for the code since you pre-ordered it. Hopes this helps.

I hope you know that the costume only comes with GameStop pre-order.

You know the White Joe Hayabusa costume that we preordered? Well someone had an even cooler white costume, it looked the same but it had armor and a longer cape that extended from ryu's scarf. It was pretty badass in comparison to the one I preordered I wonder how they got it, probably for beating mentor you think?

that's the Dynasty Warrior type costume.

I seriously love mentor mode! It was retuned perfectly! Just like how Very Hard was my favourite mode in NG1.

Dynasty Warriors? Are the mentor costumes in connection or inspired by DW? Because I really thought Rachel's purple costume reminded me of something Zhen Ji would wear. Momiji and Ayane both have fancy threads too. Very Hard was also my favorite mode in NG1. Have you completed the Mentor story mode yet?

I pre-ordered it at the store, but did not get a code for the costume.

I went back, with the receipt, and they told me that they weren't handling that anymore, and that I was to contact Techmo at the official site. I haven't been able to find anything like a contact button. Can anyone give me a hand with this?

well, the supplies were limited, so you being late might have caused a problem.
If you ever manage to contact Tecmo, they should give you a code, or they could give you some PSN credit so that you can buy it IF it goes on sale as an add-on.

you should have gotten the game on day of release or first week of release. Since that's the whole point of giving consumers chance to get something free or bargain. Which benefits the publisher because they gain lots of money if people use that opportunity and buy the game day of release or first week of release.


Just like Toshiro said, supplies are limited. You'll have to wait and buy the costume when it gets added to PSN.

For your information, next time you want this kind of stuff, always get it day of release or first week of release.



I'm angry too! I was trying to find out if you could customize the controls for Devil May Cry 4. Went to forums, but got retarded answers, not to mention f***ing fanboys of the series, so damn useless.

If I had gotten the game, I would have had the game signature by the maker of DMC. But I got it months later. Collectors Edition that freaking cost £30, and the regular only cost £12. I had no idea why I got the C.E for 360, but I later remembered why I wanted to get it in the first place.



So contacting Tecmo wouldn't do anything, you should have gotten the game day of release to boost Sigma 2's sales, therefore you'd have gotten a free costume. But hey, cheer up!
Just hope that the DLC costume will only be £2!
Because seriously, the collectors edition for Sigma 2 is a COMPLETE waste of money! I just like the awesome stylish packaging.

I thought the book that came with the CE was kinda cool. good quality print too.

anyway, sorry to hear about the pre-order costume.

not really all that great looking anyway.

if you still want it and if Tecmo is no help, wait a little bit and check ebay.

I'm sure those GS employees who stole all those extra custom voucher that were suppose to go to customers will start unloading them at bargin prices soon.

I thought the CE was kickass. Not only do I get a different looking cover, I get a booklet, and a soundtrack. There's never anything important over the CE, only what you like in it.

then man your sh1t out of luck lol. there is no more codes and if they decide to make an add-on then you'll probably have to buy it. Plus it was a Pre-order thing meaning you had to pre-order the game to get it and if you didn't or you did they probably ran out

i've seen code on sale on ebay but cheapist i've seen is 20 buy it now option the rest are going for 40 bucks and up even saw one guy bid 60 wanted just for sake of completion but fuk it im not paying for that crap looking coostume plus there always the chance of ebay scum sending u used code
