No demo! What do we do while we wait!? Everyone write down your trophies wishlist to be added to the game. Game right now is currently in 72%, the game could be released this Sept, but Team NINJA are further developing it. Thinking of different ways to may the game the Ultimate edition. So it could be released this Oct. Sigma is a different game, an exclusive title to PS3. So we do not want the same achievements from Ninja Gaiden 2, bring something fresh! GAME MODES: *Campaign: Ryu, Ayane, Momiji, Rachel (which means, you don't switch in between characters in someone's campaign like the way it was done in Sigma 1) *Mission mode (Possibly the same Mission Mode from Ninja Gaiden 2) *Co-oP Mode (Mission mode specifically for Co-oP missions) *Special Mode (new mode that wasn't introduced in any Ninja Gaiden game) Ryu Hayabusa Weapons Dragon Sword Vigorrian Flails Dragon Sword Tiger Fangs Lunar Staff Kurisagama Tonfa Scythe Wolf and Talon Claws +Bazooka/Rocket Launcher (gun) +Dabilaho 2 (Aerial specified weapon) Here's my trophy list *Weapon Master (Silver): Use each weapons with each character by performing every movelist on an enemy *Lesser Ninja (Bronze): Beat the game in Acolyte mode * Greater ninja (Bronze): Beat the game in Warrior Mode *Head Ninja (Silver): Beat the game in Mentor Mode *Master Ninja (Gold): Beat the game in Master Ninja * Mystical Ninja (Bronze): Cast 1000 ninpons (Ryu: void, wind, Rachel: Blood Venom etc) *Weapon master (Gold): Beat the game using every sets of weapon with each characters (Ryu, Ayane etc. Example finish a campaign by using only the Dragon Sword, finish by only using Tonfas etc) * Mission Objectives (Silver): Complete all Mission Mode (doesn't matter if it's in co-op and in any difficulty) *Treasure Hunter (Silver): Collect all the ------- in the game (silver skulls? golden scarabs?) *Ninja cleanser (Silver): Killed 50,000 ninjas (you'll eventually get this, if you play Campaign mode in at least 3 different difficulties with 4 different characters and replaying Mission Modes) *Fiendish vanqisher (silver): Killed 50,000 fiends *Shadowless Ninja (Silver): Get maximum of 50 death when playing a campaign mode in any difficulty (meaning, you should only die 50 times with any character story at any difficulty.) *God and Goddess (Bronze): Use the Double Co-oP Ninpons 500 times (Ryu+Ayane screen clearing ninpon) * Obliterating Ninja (Silver): Perform a total of 10,000 Obliteration Techniques *Ultimate Ninja (Silver): Perform a total of 10,000 Ultimate Techniques * Unstoppable Manic (Silver): Chain 150 hit combos with each characters (get 150 hits with Ryu, 150 hits with Ayane etc Gaining 100 hits is DEAD easy, tonfa Ultimate Technique gives you 40 hits) * Izuna is the signature move! (Bronze): Perform 5000 izuna drops *Tranquility of the Spirit (Silver): Finish a chapter-- without using any healing grains *Mission Paced (Silver): Finish Chapter - - under -- minutes/hour *Grand Master (Gold): Finish a campaign without leveling up a weapon, including the True Dragon Sword (meaning don't level up any weapon, just finish the game with any level 1 weapons) *Essence of a ninja soul (Gold) Acquire 1,000,000,000 essence (1 thousand billion essence!) *Everlasting noble Spirit (Gold): finish a campaign without upgrading the health gauge *Team NINJA was here (Bronze): Secret: Find all the Team NINJA hidden logo * Deathweaver (Bronze): Secret: Kill 5 enemies with 1 hit *Hoble Ninja (Bronze) Secret: Collect all the dead ninja diaries, letters and build up your library collection *Acknowledegment (Bronze): Secret: Perform hidden move with all weapons that have hidden movelist (like the Vigorrian Flail: Runaway lighting from Ninja Gaiden Black, or the Flying Swallow and performing the fiend bane kick afterwards) * Please do not include these sort of trophies *Fully Max out the weapon (because in the end, everyone would want to try out a weapon at it's fullest) *learn how to dodge, learn how to cast a ninpon, learn countering (please none of these bullsh.. from the Xbox 360 Achievement! They are mandatory in the first place and why should there be trophies for them???) | ||

the trophies are probably going to be the same achievements as xbox gaiden 2 some hidden ones and etc. they're deff going to be like beat every chapter on any difficulty so yea man. your wishlist is way off. No one would get 1billion essences man people gotta upgrade weapons and beat bosses with upgraded weapons plus I dont think they would make the game without leveling up the your sword level 1 would suck | |||

well it's confirmed already that Sigma 2 will indeed have some of NG2's achievement and it'll have it's own trophies for Co-oP mode. And collecting 1billion essence isn't hard. It's cumulative. Meaning no matter how many essence you collect, even though you spend too much, every single essence will be added up. Hence the name, "collect 1 billion karma essence". You are collecting, not saving. Basically you'll eventually get that trophy if you play the game a lot. collecting essence in both chapter select, campaign and team mission. As well as collecting essence from defeated enemies from chapter select, campaign and team mission. So therefore, it isn't hard, just to make people play the game a little longer, rather than finishing Acolyte/Normal mode and selling/trading the game. | |||

I don't care for the old included trophies they're new to me, but one thing for sure, they really must make it extremely competitive, way more than comparing score and in a way that shows specific skills hardcore gamers have. like the well to complete a chapter with no health items, completing a chapter in an extremely short time, or using one weapon to and a chapter but not the entire game. I find some of what xino suggest applicable but yet some way overboard . | |||

You seem to be forgetting that this is a difficult game, half of the people who would buy this game would not be able to get most of the Gold trophies. Better yet, you want Team NINJA to had extreme challenging trophies!? O_o I mean, if there's an achievement for "beat chapter 10 under 5mins". Talk about beating the game in master ninja first!? I mean beating the game in master ninja will be the hardest thing you've ever done and will conclude the Platinum trophy. But adding another hard challenge such as the time attack, makes the trophy really really hard. DOA4 and DOA2X have the hardest achievements ever. The achievements are not even balanced out. I don't think they need to make anything competitive, they have to make the trophies accessible for all gamers. If a newcomer manages to beat the game on Warrior mode, he can work hard to beat Mentor mode. If he indeed does beat Mentor mode, he's his choice to cross the border by going for Master Ninja or not. Trophies such as beat a chapter with 1 weapon is do-able by all gamers, but ones like beat 2 bosses in 2mins or no healing items is only accessible to hardcore gamers. I don't want Team NINJA to be selfish, whereas they make silly trophies for n00bs 50% and other 50% for hardcore gamers. All trophies should be do-able by all gamers, as long as gamers work hard to earn it. Hardcore players can make the game competitive already without the needs of trophies. | |||

I can't deny that most of what you say is true . but I find the use of trophies is to compare players to each other and allow them to compete in a way more interesting and motivating method that keeps them going more than it is already by only listing the your score online. and to allow a difference between players so we can create a competition we need some extremes to achieve . the game is hard, very hard in fact and we expect it to have extreme challenges beyond its difficulty . | |||

Is that the aim of trophies!? O_o for competition? And Ninja Gaiden isn't really THAT hard. It's a challenging game, if you learn the basic combat rules, weapons and enemies. You can finish the game with only 1 weapon at level 1 or starting health gauge. If the game is hard already and Team NINJA makes extreme challenge trophies. What about the casual gamers? only hardcore gamers will get the game. This is one of the reasons why DOA4 was a failure. It was aimed towards hardcore players. Everything was design for the hardcore players. | |||

I never implied that ALL the trophies are to be of extreme level. sure the casual gamers must be able to achieve some trophies (and finish the game) that's why game achievements and challenges are not supposed to be of the same level (that's why games have a difficulty option) and I said trophies are to compare us gamers, so how can we compare if we have one level of game challenges? | |||

oooooooooooh be careful how you type man, because you won't want me to insult you in one of my comment:/ Why don't YOU play Ninja Gaiden, I don't even think you understand the game too well and it's karma system. Equip the Armlet of Beneficent what ever it's called. And it'll triple your essence. Keep the yellow essence chain going and the essence grows bigger and bigger. If you keep the chain up, it doubles your essence. Whether you sacrifice a yellow essence for an Ultimate Technique, the essence still builds up as a karma money. I played Ninja Gaiden Sigma last week, chapter 16 on Master Ninja. I equipped the Armlet of Beneficial, by the end of chapter 16, I had 999999 karma points. (sweet dejavu again!) I think you just want to argue here, and believe me you won't win:/ Go back and re-read my comment. I said Sigma 2's 1 billion trophy point. It will be cumulative, meaning if you spend the karmas in a chapter, the overall "COLLECTED" karma will build up adding up to 1 billion. YOU GET IT NOW!? You are not spending, you are gaining karma. This is the second time I've repeated myself. "Collect 1 billion essence/karma". You are collecting not spending! If I say "Gather" then that's something difference. Because it would mean you have to collect 1 billion without spending. Also Team NINJA altered the upgrading system in Sigma 2. Now it's back to Sigma 1's style. Meaning Murarmasa will not have all the equipments to upgrade a or an entire weapon in 1 chapter. It will be like Sigma whereas you can only upgrade a weapon if Muramasa has the equipment in several chapters. WHy don't you learn how to read...here's a tip "RTFM!" | |||
