Nintendo announced that KT will bring Ninja Gaiden to 3DS at EEE3 2010. Real name is not confirmed yet, currently called NG.
Wow I'm amazed the DS is getting so much hardcore titles, PsP doesn't stand a CHANCE anymore. Now DS has 2 NG titles and 1 DOA titles to its system. I think it's time to consider buying an handheld system |

haha so they're getting a few games and that makes it more hardcore than PSP?
No, sure it starts making some people attracted to it but everyone sees the DS as a kiddy system. PSP is still the hardcore portable console. It's also far from dead, in fact there's a bunch of titles coming to it this year. But I will give credit to Nintendo with the 3DS capability. Clearly they just showed us true 3D experience that isn't a gimmick(which would require a peripheral aka glasses). |

no it will require no glasses at all since nintendo announced that it is the first 3D display with no glasses required.

Nintendo is back. 3DS shouldn't be dubbed as a kiddy handheld.
Everyone has been saying the graphics looks as good as PS2. Some people going as far as saying this kills PsP. To me, PsP regime seems to be over! Have you seen the amount of hardcore titles for 3DS? O_o Not only that, you get to play the games in 3D without glasses. Best yet, ALL DS games can be played on 3DS. It's getting a better online system too. Overall sounds like 3DS is a winner. PsP Go is failing, who would want to buy a new PsP GO with no functions people hoped for? All we get are mini trash games, digital content, slider screen...what else? At least DS platforms released brought out new things. So far we've had PsP 1000, 2000, 3000, in which none brought nothing new. I'm really tempted to get a 3DS instead but handhelds are seriously not my theme. NG again on DS! DOA on DS? Metal Gear on DS? Clearly PsP should say goodbye! Despair
Nintendo are actually wrong on this, Canada made a breakthrough by creating a 3D Tv without the use of glasses. But if Nintendo says their handheld is the first 3D functionality without the use of glasses, then yes, it's the first 3d handheld without need for glasses. |

I know, thus why I said it wasn't a gimmick. A gimmick would be needing a peripheral or in this case, the 3D glasses to see 3D. Since I noted how the 3DS isn't a gimmick and a true 3D experience unlike Sony's 3D with the need of Stereoscopic TV to display it. The 3DS has only shown a few "hardcore" titles for it: Some being MGS and NG. I do not know their full list of games nor actually care at this time but the DS library is filled with Kid games unlike PSP which has more hardcore games but the problem is PSP is more expensive so most people opt out for a DS instead. |

what's all your opinion on this type of game? will it be 2D or 3D? reimaging of the Classic Ryukenden or telling more stories in the Modern Ninja Gaiden?
I personally wish it's a RyuKenden revamp but in 3D modelling graphics as a Side Scroller. |

From my analysis, I am betting all my money that Ninja Gaiden (tentative title) is also being developed for PsP 2.
Sure the game is confirmed for 3DS, furthermore we have no details about the game during TGS except we got NG3 confirmed news. GDC 2011 we will hear more news on NG3. DOA Dimensions is due 2011. The thing is, TK are going multiplatform with their titles and why would they develop NG for DS & 3DS and not having any for PsP? So I am definitely sure NG will be made for 3DS and PsP 2. |

I would like a NG on the PSP but I doubt it'll happen though.
Also, that $300 price tag for 3DS is going to bad for sales. |

NG rumoured to be coming for Vita
http://thegamershub.net/2011/0...evelopment-for-vita/ It makes sense now. Sony said that it would be so much easier to port games from PS3 to Vita. So we can all agree that Ninja Gaiden 3 will be the Vita port. Though the 3DS version is another game. |

This sounds great, can't get enough Ninja Gaiden!

doubt it'll be a port. I know sony said that but they were only saying that to show how easy it is to develop for the Vita, not to say it's going to be filled with ports. Since this is a rumor, we'll have to wait and see but I don't see why they'd port the same game to vita. |

i strongly believe it's going to be NG3 port.
Because the 3DS version will be designed to utilize the 3D effect. Vita doesn't do 3D like 3DS so bringing the 3DS version might be a waste of visual experience on Vita. So I believe it might just be the NG3 port. Also with NG3 port and Vita system features, NG3 might just be more immersive like the Wii U version. Touching the Vita screen to perform Steel on Bone. Using the back touch to Kunai Climb. |

I suppose, though with all the unique abilities of the Vita I guess it wouldn't entirely be the same thing. You still have the sixaxis type controls with the touch pad/screen and what not

Ninja Gaiden Sigma coming to Vita
http://www.vg247.com/2011/09/1...e-commits-to-launch/ Will this be a full port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 & 2? will it be Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 port alone? or will it be a new game designed for the use of Vita features? This message has been edited. Last edited by: xino, |

I thought people were hoping for this and finally excited when the news broke. So how come no one is talking about this? O_o
Anyway if its Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 port for Vita, will you get it if it has Trophy support? |

Im hopeful that its not a direct port. I love NGS, but I would like to have something special there. Cant wait to see more of this.

Shopto.NET interview with peter garza
http://www.shoptonews.net/2011...-ninjas-peter-garza/
Cool...pretty much means the game might just support Trophies. It's the only way to make gamers buy this game. Also they are editing the game from already built stuff so whilst editing the game, they might as well just put in trophy support. And yes! People will finally have a great time with Sigma because it would support Hero mode. |
