We all know what the 2 modes are Hero & Ninja, as both will be including in Ninja Gaiden Sigma+.

I was thinking what if we have a Ryukenden mode? what is this?
basically you get a limited of 100 lives to complete Master Ninja from start to finish.
Each time you die, your 100 (extra) lives decreases, until it reaches 0 it will be game over and you cannot continue.

When you play Classic Ryukenden at the arcade, you are limited to a number of coins you have to play the game. The same can be said to the console versions, you have a limited extra lives to beat the whole game.

So I was thinking to make Ninja Gaiden more difficult than it already is, what if there is a Ryukenden mode that gives you a limited set of lives to beat whole of Master Ninja.
In fact Ninja Gaiden 2's xbox 360 achievement had something similar to this however it was the opposite. You get the achievement when you die 100 times.

What if we have a mode like this? Can you beat Master Ninja with 60 out of 100 lives? it would be lucky if you beat master Ninja with remaining 1 out of 100 lives. The best of the best will the person who beats the game 100/100.
And no, every time you reset the game just before you die, will render a life lost.

In fact I was thinking about this as we normally have people who cannot stand losing/dying; everytime they lost in a game they would quickly reset the system so the game doesn't register their lost count.
What if you are limited to beat Master Ninja in a straight run without turning off the system? how exactly would this work?
what if everytime you save at the Falcon the game will take off one of your lives for saving?
This will be extremely hard and difficult as it forces you to beat more chapters and save less often, and also survive more often and die less often?
