How many of you would like to have the option in Ninja Gaiden Simga 2 for PS3. To turn on the blood spray effects seen in Ninja Gaiden 2 on 360. When the limbs are cut off. I think we should at least have the option for it. Or play the game with the standard purple cloud effects and small amounts of blood.

Man i knew it would be too good to be true, i knew something was gonna ruin this game...and now its finally revealed, no blood in NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA II.

i think tecmo needs to think about what they are doing here, i play Ninja gaiden not for story, but for Difficulty , COMBOS, AND GORE. those are the only things holding ninja gaiden up, i can tell you right now it is definetly not story.

If they do this they better be ready for a lot of dissapointed Grown ups who played the original , therefore its only fair to have an option to turn it on or to turn it off.

this is my selling point, its going to determine if i pick this game up or not. if they get rid of the gore, because thats my reward in a way for defeating a hord of enemies. they get rid of that and this games replaybility is gonna go down.

i know thats how japanese feel, but in america gore in video games is accepted well.

Hayashi officially stated he doesn't want the game to be bloody or gorey, he's going back to Gaiden 1's style: to be sleek and stylish.

If you want blood go play Madworld.

Sorry, gameplay matters. If you play the Europe version of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, they took out the beheading, so removing the blood is no big deal.

I'm not a fanboy, I'm only a owner of ps3, I like Ninja Gaiden BUT i don't like censorship and Ninja Gaiden without blood it's not a Ninja Gaiden.

the blood and gore are the most important things in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

No they are not!

The most important things in NG2 was the speed, obliteration and dismemberment. Making it bloody in NG2 was an additional feature, in the end Team NINJA couldn't nail the game package. With so much blood in the game, enemies on screen, real time effects, animations, dead bodies on the ground and speed. The game ran SO slow! So they had to tone down the blood and other stuff, which looks FAR from being the same shown in the beta videos and HI RES images.


Seriously, you people and fanboys complaining, if Team Ninja does change this thing, you'll just make them ruin a good game to come.

The game isn't made for you, not many sick people in the head like you loves blood in every game.

So no! If you want blood go play Gears of War or Madworld.

Leave the purple effect!

Blood is a Key factor, because what made me feel that viseral speed and force in NG 2 was the gore, that was the sweetest addition to an already awsome Game. Getting rid of that is like a huge step back, its not gonna feel the same.

and its going to feel like all your hard work destroying enemies is gonna go unrewarded. a game is suppose to make you want to advance to the next stage, if theres nothign there other than the combos..ts gonna be down right stupid.

The first Ninja Gaiden was directed by Itagaki and was full of blood and gore!
A game censored is more elegant?
So logically a Madworld, a God of War or Gta without blood would be more sleek and stylish?

I agree too, Team Ninja is making a big mistake taking away the blood in his game and replacing it with shiny purple essence.

They should at least make an option to turn on the blood.

There is nothing sleek or stylish, it only makes the game look silly and lame.

Just look at what happen with Pal versions of Ninja Gaiden, there's a reason why so many Europeans imported North American versions of Ninja Gaiden.

We expect realism in a game made for young adults, not kiddy fairytale style shiny purple stuff.

After all movies made for young adults like Kill Bill and 300 wouldn't have been as good if they replaced blood with shiny purple essence.

please give us the option to change the color of the purple essence

Blood is 50% of the reason people play this game over other great action games out there, like DMC (the other 50% being the difficulty). Without blood, over 60% of the fanbase is going to give Tecmo a big f*** you.

Clarify, Ninja Gaiden Xbox and Sigma's PAL versions had the bloody gore removed? I thought it was M for Mature? Anyway, an option like the ones in MGS could, no should include taking out the blood splatter.

Give us the gore option. Purple smoke is fine for kids, but lacking for fans of NG2. Tecmo is choosing to cater to only one side and ignoring the other. Why would you intentionally limit the target audience? You could have both and everyone wins. Figure it out!

It's still rated M...so no, kids can not access it.

That makes no sense. The game is still rated Mature. Sure, teenagers can get their hands on the game, but it's illegal for them to purchase. So, like I said before, Tecmo has accomplished nothing in terms of sales potential by removing the blood. It should be an option for people who feel that it is an integral part of the game.
