I know I made a post regarding this in a topic, but felt this should be made a topic on its own. I believe like me, there are some Sigma 1 and 2 players out there who want to have that "ultimate" save file, at least for NG1 (since once you enter the Vigoor Empire, you can pretty much circle through 90% of the place, whereas in NG2, this isn't possible since you just go from one location on the planet to the next...and there's no turning back). For NG1, my ideal save file would be right after defeating Spirit Doku, since at that point, you can visit any location in the Vigoor Empire, with the exception of the deepest area with the Egyptian stuff since it gets flooded and sealed off with rocks after the Moat chapter, and at this late point in the game of course, you could have acheived all life of the gods, spirit of the devils, demon jewels, and all other upgrading items, not to mention weapons. However, I would not be able to obtain these unless I knew the locations of these upgrades. I can't find one single FAQ or article that lists these locations. For NG Black, there is a FAQ that lists the locations for Master Ninja mode. However, none for Sigma 1 or 2. It somewhat ****es me off one person listed all locations for all modes in Sigma 1 on GameFAQs EXCEPT Master Ninja mode. He said he would update it since 2007, but he never has, and I doubt he ever will (his name was VampireHorde). Would anyone here happen to know where I can figure these locations for Sigma 1 and 2? I just find it ridiculous this info is virtually nowhere. These aren't some unheard of games that has mostly bad reviews. These are some of the best action-adventure games of their time. There definitely needs to be something listing the hardest mode locations. I could just open every chest and explore every area, but I would be happy if there's a way to be absolutely sure you cleared the areas without having to start a new file just because you can't go back to that area (like the Egyptian chapter in Sigma 1) and I would need to start over, if I'm that concerned with getting all upgrades, which I am. As for the scarab locations, I know those are fixed for all difficulty levels, and I wonder why on Earth Team Ninja didn't make that the case with the other items? What's the freaking point of doing otherwise? "Darkness is destined to lift in the end. I still have much left to do." yes, I love how NGS1 was built, that you could return to most places. but for me, the ideal place to save is just before going through the giant doors and on the stairs, as that is when you have passed everything, acquired every item, defeated every fiend and all the portals are open. You see, there are 51 Scarabs, and you have to find them from beginning for every new story, it's not like that with other items, once you find them, they stay with you (or at lest for mission mode), so they have to be hidden differently for every difficulty. I don't know why you have so much trouble finding them, when you go through the game, take your time, find hidden passages, doorways, stairs, etc. explore the map AFTER you have defeated the devil and step through every portal, you will find every item eventually. I hate getting Rachel's Hair styles, they are so heavily guarded and Rachel does not do well in crowded places.

Wait wait wait...there's successive play in Sigma 1? And if so, wasn't there some kind of downside to it? I forgot what it was but I think it had at least one down side to it...something I didn't like...but this was so long ago for NG on the Xbox, so I can't remember. Edit - crap, just google'd it and apparently no there is no successive play Why did TN decide to eff up this game so much compared to Black? Is it because they hate PS fans? Lol. in NGSigma 2. How do you get Master Ninja in Chapter Challenge? because i've gotten Mentor for both Mentor & Master Ninja in the final chapter. I killed all the enemies so why do i keep getting Mentor? it's a serious pain to go through Story mode with the terrible control button latency. Do we have to encounter those fiends with 4 legs with horse body? Because I never did in the last chapter.
