Still playing Sigma 2 online and the people who play online are nothing but fakes.
No one chooses to challenge themselves or understand the whole purpose of Ninja Gaiden's agenda which is to prove difficulty and challenge.

I can understand some missions are deeply difficult if you choose to play it the legit way, using some glitch move or so called "Ninja Arts" to beat a boss can easen the pain of the mission. However people abuse the same logic and methodical way over and over again.

I'm finding the missions boring so far so what I planned to do is to use Ayane throughout all mission and see if I can beat missions with Ayane. People who constantly join my game are just either fakes or wanting to help me complete the mission.
All they ever pick are Ryu using Lunar Stick to perform Ninja Arts or Rachel to twirl and spam UT. I tell you that majority of all these people who choose the same characters haven't even completed the same mission with a different character or weapon!

It just annoys and irriate me so much. I'm trying to beat Ultimate Ninja 4 with Ayane legit and people constantly and instantly chooses Ryu-Lunar. Most of these people haven't even beaten Master Ninja in storymode so why are they acting tough as if they can beat Ultimate Ninja missions because they know how to use Lunar and perform cheap Ninja Arts?

Like I said before: are they trying to help? Yes I do this sometimes, I know people who are new to the game and others still trying to beat a mission they haven't beaten yet. If we had to redo the mission again or my partner dies a dumb death, then I therefore know this person hasn't beaten this mission yet. What annoys me is that, they see my name in gold which should indicate I've finished master ninja and guess I must have finished this mission. Some people still thinks because they see an hosted game they believe people haven't finished it yet:/
Aside from that, helping people beat the mission for the first time is an act of Samaritan, however must you use the same character and weapons OVER AND OVER AGAIN?


I know that missions like Ultimate Ninja 3 can only be beaten if you use the Camera Boss glitch, apart from that I don't recall any missions you have to use glitching to beat the game.

People choose Rachel and rapidly spam the UT, some people who use Rachel do not even know how to use her except to Twirl. And the annoying thing is when they twirl, they absolutely do not pay attention if you are dying and need revival, more so they do nothing and you are forced to do all the work!

UT Spammers, why use Ultimate Technique on a boss? it doesn't work and does very tiny damage to the bosses!
UT especially Enma's Fang can only work on Elizabeth since she has high defence, and also the Bone Dragon and Tengu Brothers.
I see people using UT on Genshin...how stupid can they be? Genshin is one of the most easiest bosses in the game!
People still cannot beat him without Ninja Arts. If people learn to cooperate together and fight Genshin, they would just learn how easy it is!
After finishing off a boss the worst thing to raise your anger is when your idiotic partner charges for UT when you open up a casket!

Boss lock on; I do not know what is so hard in people not understanding when a boss targets them! If you attack a boss the boss would shift focus on you! If you die and your partner revives you, enemies and bosses will focus on your partner. Helping out in Ultimate Ninja 3, people do not know when the statues will mark them as targets! Let alone people who constantly die by Genshin's Peicring Void because they mistook Genshin targeting their partner.



I really do hope players who still plays this game reads this topic so they can WAKE UP from this game and stop their nonsense!
If you really think Ninja Gaiden 2 is harder than Sigma 2 then stop using Ninja Arts!

The other night I hosted a game trying to beat Master Ninja 1 with Ayane.
This guy kept joining my game and always chooses the Dragon Sword, during the Genshin fight he always wants to take him on by himself.

I always interrupt him, trying to show him how to play right, though he moves away and way for me to fight him alone.

Another day he joins my game choosing the Dragon Sword again, fights Genshin on his own and I messaged him telling him not to be a hero and share the boss fight. Turns out his chinese and doesn't understand son I disconnected.

10mins later I got a message from him again, this time from his friend telling me his friend his Chinese and doesn't speak English that I was rude to quit on him, he said he knew the ps3 isn't his. And he ranted saying if I am so good, why do I back off everytime I fight Genshin and wait for his friend to attack.

I replied back to him, saying why does he pick Dragon Sword all the time, he's only good at that weapon, I want to challenge myself by using Ayane, and I'm a master ninja and I've finished this mission already. All people ever do is enter my game and pick Lunar, & Tonfa and infinite izuna drop Genshin. This is co-op and players should work together to fight Genshin.

He replied back saying he doesn't care if I'm a master ninja, that in master ninja storymode you fight Genshin on your own, so you do this in Master Ninja 1 team mission and other players are better than me. You think because he picked the Dragon Sword he would loop Genshin? I wouldn't have anybody to play with offline.

Retarded post: I replied back telling him you fight Genshin in master ninja alone because it's STORYMODE SINGLE PLAYER, this is Cooperative! I don't care if there are others better than me.

He replied one last time saying he doesn't want to argue with me and said I assume too much and that, don't I know others have finished the game with other character?

I replied back: continue using your Dragon Sword.

The chinese player complained to his friend, and his friend started to act as if he was there and KNOW it all.

The guy made like an idiot cannot distinguish the difference between single player and co-op games! He thinks in co-op you only play together to combat minion but fight bosses is 1v1.


Seriously what is the point in playing this game when you have finished a mission with a weapon you are masterful at and you barely get your health scratched.

This is not a challenge! Hardcore NG fans who played Ninja Gaiden Black are so good at Master Ninja mode that, they challenge themselves by not upgrading any weapon, not upgrading any health gauge or playing through the game with just the Wooden Stick!


Every Master Ninja or Ultimate Ninja missions I load up, people instantly pick Ryu- Dragon Sword, tonfa, Dragon Claws & Tiger Fangs.

Ok another n00b I encountered again on Sigma 2 Team Missions.
I hosted a Ultimate Ninja 2 mission, this n00b joined the game and chose Rachel.

His connection was bad and twirl all the time, because of lag I got hurt and died at the hands of the Spider. But what annoys me the most is that he wasn't even attacking, all he does is twirl and stand away from the fight and barely attacks when ever I get the chance to engage.

After killing Spider and Red Tengu twin appeared, I was giving him some damages, he sent me a message saying "i'm next plz", indicating he wants to take on Tengu alone. I ignore the message and kept fighting, though I still died couple of times, and he some times engaged in battle and twirled for nothing.

Anyway after the game was over in 3x Genshin battle. He sent me several texts and I did to him. He said I don't act like a master ninja, I replied saying it's your connection that causes the reason why I died, and you use cheats with the game by twirling infinite and using weapon loops.

He replied saying it's my connection and those bosses are easy he can kill Genshin in mins. I replied when I host a game my connection is always green, if you think this is a single player game go play Ninja Gaiden 2, this is a cooperative game it's 2v1.

Again he replied saying you can fight 1v1 as well; he checked my trophy and I haven't completed all missions. I replied back anybody can glitch the trophy system and if you have finished master ninja why isn't your name in gold.

Checking his trophies he does have most trophies without a registered date, however the Gold trophy which is to successfully complete all missions does have a date. He doesn't have hidden trophy and does have master ninja trophy but without a date.

I replied saying, you glitched the trophy system because all of your trophies do not have reg date on except for the gold. He replied saying he doesn't need to play mn again, he has finished it trophy is proof, ask anyone I am a mn.

I checked his Ninja Records and he hasn't even completed Master Ninja yet:/
Thank goodness for the directions Hayashi took for Sigma 2. The gold indicates people who have legitimately finished master ninja, and the Ninja Records records all tracks on how you play the game.



People are just retarded, they do not know what co-operative stands for and what it means. All they think of is you co-op together to take on minions but it has to be a 1v1 with boss encounters

too bad the connection between US and UK is bad. I'd play the mission with you if it wasn't so laggy.

I always use Rachel in that mission, I take on the spider (often flawlessly) while the other player takes care of the archers.

then when we're done with the spider, we do the co-op UT and the other player distracts the Tengu while I spam UT.

Same goes to the Witch.

and the Genshin battle is where I go from full health to 0 (partly cuz I suck at twirling) and other is that only 1 genshin chases me when I twirl, so I try to distract the second genshin to make it easier for my partner, and make myself open to attacks.

we can always try again, I've found ways to make the connection better.

and like you said, you use Wifi so expect the game to lag.

Yes, you can beat the game like that. In fact you can beat the game any how on Team Missions as long as 2 players fight together! Some assholes do not understand the meaning of co-op and it irritates me so much. Just like Left4Dead, you are meant to stay together yet you find idiots running around alone, showing off and being a Mr SuperHero.

i really dislike forigen players who play Ninja Gaiden games like Germans, French.
No racist talk or what so ever as I love every country and adore their languages.

But foriegn players (above list because everyone is a foreigner in each individual countries) who play Ninja Gaiden games are so aggressive that it **** me off so much!

I remember when I posted guide videos of how to beat Mission mode missions in NG Black on Youtube, I'll see aggressive people above abusing my video and saying all bunch of bad stuff such as a n00b, pssy, sht at the game etc.


Now I recently played with a French player. UN2- I killed the Spider boss. He got hurt so bad in Tengu fight and didn't want to fight to avoid further getting hurt, i did all the work and almost killed him. Though because I'm honourable and know about fairness and sharing, i ran away so he can kill Tengu and get the kill. Making it 1-1 for boss kills. Later he killed Obaba....ok I wouldn't complain about that.

Ok we played the mission again after dying, I did most of the work for Spider even though he helped me out, he aggressively took the kill on purpose. Tengu boss fight comes up next, we both worked together but I did most of the damages and once AGAIN TOOK the kill without backing away and offering me the chance to kill him.
Obaba fight came up, we both did damages to her and he aggressively took the kill by shooting two Piercing Void Ninpo.


Seriously, I'm tired of the experience in this goddamn game online and the way farking idiots play games online! I mean...talk about greediness and selfishness!

People enjoy the feeling of winning over playing the actual game. Same reaason people always us meta teams/decks instead of being original in yugioh/pokemon. Why so many casual gamers like call of duty even if the game is ****ting compared to halo. Same reason why they made sigma overall easier. People just like winning and they dont care if its cheap, easy or broken.

*They challenged themselves and used other weapons to beat UN1. Unlike some people who boast and stick to 1 weapon beating all missions.
*they worked together and took turns each time, unlike some people who hug all bosses to themselves
*and they didn't use any cheap cheating tactics!

Elizabeth in UN1 seems to be cooled down, she does the blood pool grab, constantly stay in the air and most of the time focuses on player 2.
Unlike Master Ninja 5 as she attacks both players all the time.

They make this mission look like Master Ninja challenge O_o

I wanted to give NGS2 a shot again.

and finally I beat Ultimate Ninja 3 legit without any camera glitch, cannon spamming, exploits or cheap moves.

The good thing was that me and the Japanese player both used Momiji.


Maximum challenge, I kept sweating through out. Only took about 8-9 tries, though it was laggy.

Some of you may be wondering wtf does my sig means:
"Ninja Gaiden on Master Ninja is meant to be hard to give you a sense of challenge, and if you find a cheap way that makes playing Master Ninja 'easy', you should stop playing Ninja Gaiden"

It means NG is meant to be a hard game in the first place. You want a challenging hard game that is why you play it, "hard to beat" type of game. The main fun of playing NG is to conquer the hard difficulty. However if you manged to find a cheap easy way to beat the game, there isn't any point in playing NG.

Especially in Master Ninja mode, if you find ways to cheat, exploit, glitch or use cheap moves then why are you playing NG in Master Ninja? it is acceptable to do those things in ninja dog because you will be considered a n00b who must do anything to finish the game.

If you've managed to beat Normal, Hard and Very Hard. Playing Master Ninja means you want more in terms of difficulty, you want the hardest difficulty that is 'unbeatable'. Thus lengthens the play time because you will constantly keep retrying for your false death. However if you cheat/exploit/glitch, you are doing yourself no favour.

It basically means you can't beat the game in Ultimate Ninja or Master Ninja so you must find a cheap way to beat it.
Not being able to beat those mode without cheats/exploits means the developer has done their job into making and fine tuning an unbeatable mode.
Just keep trying until you are good enough to beat it. Beating it with cheats/exploits just shows how crap you are.

It's another way of not claiming defeat or bringing a knife to a fist fight.

Topic of the day: is this game still worth playing online?

I was playing today in the afternoon, some players internet lagged during team missions, some were not that bad and others were annoyingly worst. However I still managed to play a good round before quitting for the day.

Later in the night around 8-9pm I decided to jump online again. And man the internet connection was so bad it was unplayable. Everyone who joined my game lagged the game. It sort of brought it to my intention that what if the server ping rises at night? or because Team NINJA are working on NG3 online they decided to reduce server space for NGS2 for NG3?


I don't know how long I can keep playing this game for with so much n00bs ruining the game online and problems here and there.
My question to viewers is: would you keep playing NGS2 team missions after NG3 comes out?
this is a question that has been bothering me ever since I perceived that NG3 will have online multiplayer.
I really dislike NG2 and I had to take my time to play chapter challenge in NGS2 simply because I just hate the rushed bad designing of the single player campaign in NG2 that was ported to NGS2.
All I ever play and waste time in NGS2 is team mission mode.

Many people who do not care about the Gaming Industry are still taking their attitude for granted. I'm talking about people who purposely buy game 2 years later or when a game reaches its bargain bin. These abusers are the ones saying "I just got NGS2, do people still play this online?".


I don't get why people just can't rent games when a game is still popular or being talked about. Because when you rent you can get your online achievements/trophies before departing with the game. 2 years later or when the game reaches its bargain bin then you can buy it for cheap.

I can understand that predecessor games of a successor/sequel, many fans still play them online. Like majority of fans who were playing Halo 2 when everyone are enjoying Halo 3.

Who would still be playing NGS2 Team Missions when everyone would be playing NG3's online co-op/multiplayer?
this is not important and doesn't concern me, but it is just an advice to people who like joining a party late. Better to get things done earlier and later come back to it.

There are so many new players coming to NGSigma 2, and the most annoying thing is when new players who haven't even finished Mentor yet, would join my Ultimate Ninja mission hosted games. Its so annoying, I can understand the fact that they want to have fun even though some of them know they can't beat it while others think "if i play with a good player I can beat the mission without doing much work".
It's really annoying to play with them because the match won't even last 30sec because of their constant dying. The player will be so aggressive and can't even THINK before attacking and lastly I would just be wasting my time entertaining this person since I won't get anywhere in terms of completion. In the end the person losing out will be me.

I wish NG3 will have the option to allow people with good ranks to join a game. Like if you've beaten Master Ninja or certain difficulty, you can only join those higher difficulty missions.

I don't really care for the above suggestion. I just want missions to be unlockable like they were in NGBlack & NG Sigma. Meaning you can ONLY play the next tier missions if you've beaten 4 or all of the previous missions! I hated how all missions were auto unlocked from start. Because it just allowed you to quit a match and find out a newbie is the one wanting to play with you.

If you want to play Master Ninja missions without completing all Mentor missions. Well tough luck, learn how to beat mentor first before attempting Master Ninja.



Another thing I hope for is the ability to kick players off games. Man you don't know how f....ng annoying it is when freaking multiplayer games lack ADMIN HOST control! If you host a game, you should have many options and controls over the room! One of the problems I hated for DOA4 online was the retarded garbage online system. NG3 should allow the player to kick players when they host games!
I can't stand telling people to stop spamming the izuna drop loop, and find out they don't speak English or just ignore your request. I should have the ability to boot their ass out of the damn game.


NGSigma 2 did a great thing by introducing online co-op but I just hope NG3 will improve upon NGSigma 2's many mistake.



Also I don't think day time and night time affects the internet. Friday night peak may affect the internet but other days don't.

Yesterday was very interesting.
As usual when playing this game I would load up my usual games: MN5, UN3, UN2.
So I jumped online and loaded up MN5, someone got in by the name of OptimnusPrime47, basically a fake master ninja n00b.
He selected Enma's Fang and started spamming Izuna Drop loop on Genshin.
I told him to stop just like I would say to many n00bs who comes into my game using that cheap tactic. He instantly left because he can't beat the mission without cheating and he left me a rude message.

I was so surprise, wtf did I do. So I sent him a rude message back and blocked him.
Why am I exposing his PSN? because from now on, when I encounter pricks such as OptimusPrime47 who claim to be good, I would expose their PSN to see how much of a prick they act online.
Sure you may see his name on Youtube videos beating UN2 and what not.
People like him are not even skilled at the game and are very rude.

Why is he a n00b? because the day before I played with someone else who tried to use the same cheap tactic, I told him to stop. And in the next game or two we beat that mission legit with no glitch or cheap tactics.
So a n00b like Optimusprime47 is nothing but a fake skilless ninja who can only beat the game cheating & using cheap tactics.

Here's the pattern of a player with no skill online:
Tonfa- Genshin, Tengu
Blade of the Archfiend- Elizabeth and other bosses
Lunar Stick (Blade of Archfiend+Enma's Fang)- Izuna Drop loop on Genshin


When you see a player immediately jump to those weapons and perform those tactics, you should know that the player is clueless and isn't very skillful.
Majority of NG players are not even skilled, all they do is copy a move and tactic they see from other players online.

I mean pricks like optimusprime47 are very rude, because you don't come to someone's game and decide how you want to play. You need to show respect and abide by the hosts rules. If you don't like the rules go host your own game. This is why I always stress about online game with their lack of Boot/Kick feature.
Its like going to a shop, you need to respect the shop owner/managers rules.

Now instead of just blocking pricks like him, I decided to save their message for future references! It would remind me why I blocked the @sshole in the first place. Because you'd never know, people like him are two faced bastard who would communicate with you elsewhere and would be total nice. But in NGS2 they would be a massive prick.


Though the good thing was I meant another player who wanted to use the same cheap tactic, though I got off the wrong foot with him because of the d*head above who p*ssed me off. Though in the end we had a good game.
