I don't know if anyone else has seen this or if there is another thread about it, but I actually found this bit interesting & got me thinking, especially when they mention a beta. I will continue to add my thoughts here. Will fans be able to come up with our own trophy for the game? Also, I'd like to know what Ryu screams at the end of Ninja Gaiden Sigma when he fights the Vigoorian Empire in its final form. (Blackxino) We are always interested in hearing from the fans and receiving feedback; we'd definitely like to hear any good ideas for trophies. Right now the game is still in progress, so if there's a chance to have a beta we'd like to get those ideas. I'm not exactly sure what Xino means with the trophy question & can't see from what he wrote how it would work. How would allowing the player to create their own trophy work? You would never platinum or 1000/1000 the game & i'm sure PSN or MS wouldn't allow it. I think that allowing the player to create he's own challenges/mssions which can be shared across the consoles could fit in to the whole player creation/trophy idea which I like. I would love to be able to customise a mission. For example. Select 1000 enemies of my choice Select a difficulty Select a map Upload the customised mission like you would Ninja Cinema for people to share. The trophy for it could be things like Play 100 customised missions Beat 10000 eniemes on a customised mission I think this part is where Xinos player trophy could play in to this. Allow us to design a pin like you can an insignia in blackops and have that as a reward for beating that specific mission. Or have a deafult selection of pins that you can select and add for beating that specific mission. Trophy Collect 100 customised pins/ribbions. The replay value for this alone would be out of this world. Please also consider updating the Ninja Cinema so we can pause, change camera angles etc. Edit. I have a very starnge feeling that with all ths emphasis on katanas, no shops/essence & that they want the gameplay to flow that we will see only 4 swords throughout the single player & each sword will be attached to the D pad. thoughts? | ||

could very well be more than 4 swords though I do think there'll be some sort of quick weapon change in game similar to NGS2(and possible NGS1, i forgot gunna have to play that game again) where you can access it in game without going to full menu. | |||

From my interpretation from what i've been reading TN want the combat to flow. The problem with NGS2 weapons selection is that it pauses the game until you select what you want, NGS you have to go into the menus & TN don't want that. They think it's outdated & I have to agree. Hopefully there will be more swords. The only Katanas I can think of are TDS/DS BotA/Duel Katana & Kitetsu. I could be wrong, but I think i've mentioned them all. After reading that TN think games like NG2/Bayonetta are old "game design wise", we are not getting healing items & the emphasis is on katanas only. Theres no need for a menu like previous games. I'm almost certain that the weapons will end up on the D pad, unless they make a menu system like Bayonetta, by having your main weapons ready for quick select which are assigned to the Dpad. That way would make it possible to get more than 4 swords. Bayonetta is the most up to date action game i've ever played in terms of the combat system & i'm sure that anyone who has played & mastered it will agree so for TN to say Bayonetta & NG2 are "old" gets me excited. This is why i'm jumping to these conclusions & why i'm almost certain that we will have a weapons switching system to like that of Bayonetta, fast & fluid. Even If this is how the weapons switching is going to work, Hayashi still needs to do something amazing if he's going to make such a statement about what games he thinks are outdated. I still haven't seen whats new in NG3 that we haven't seen in previous games so i'm really looking forward to what he means when he says "old games" Edit Please leave the camera assigned to both the left & right anolog & leave the R1 camera centering the way it is in NGS2. TN need to give the real NG community a taste of this demo. I'll bet the majority of people who have played this demo haven't played previous NG titles so i'm kind of worry about feedback, if any is being given. You can only give so much feedback from video footage. If TN want our feedback they need to release a demo sooner rather than later. Giving us a demo a month before release won't do any good, the game would be finished by that point. I want this game to be a master piece and i'm sure the rest of you do. More importantly TN said they might do a MP beta & without a doubt we need one. I'm really excited for the online mode, but like many people have said. " TN couldn't get the netcode to work with 2 players" & I have to agree I don't think everyone should get access to the Beta though & I don't think pre orders should get it either. This beta should be available to the vets, people who still own NG games, people who understand what a NG game is, but seeing as TN want to focus on the wider market I can't see that happening. We need a beta one way or another though. Edit I hope you can customise the online ninjas a bit better. Hopefully we can unlock better suites the higher we rank up. I wasn't impressed by the skins I saw in the videos. They reminded me of a ps2 game | |||
