So Tecmo/Team Ninja.. Why did you do it?

You just decided to alienate your entire original fanbase for the sake of being assholes.

Sure i don't mind that you put NG2 on PS3, but why the **** did you have to alienate your whole ORIGINAL fanbase from the xbox console by giving them 2 new playable characters and CO-OP!! As well as new missions, storyline sequences and bosses, but most importantly the co-op and new weapons.

You still have failed to bring this to us xbox users as downloadable content.

PS3 NGS2 only sold 400k copies and xbox has sold over 900k.

Yet you still decided that you should of screwed us all over by not bringing the MOST SOLD platform the content of the LEAST SOLD platform version.

I see what you did there, marketing ploy, get people from the xbox forced to buy a ****ty remake with no gore on a ****tier console, its pretty much clear that rarely any people that haven't played the original NG2 have bought the game and most of them were forced from the xbox version to buy the ps3 version for new content.

Just bring us the ****ing content as downloadable content, wouldn't exactly take you long, just take the existing content and port it over to the marketplace as a download, it would even seem beneficial to your marketing get rich ploy as id rather play the version with real gore than rebuy the same ****ing game for a bit of content that should of been added as dlc.

You Tecmo, are disgraceful. I am dissapointed that you would betray the fans of the original series to a bunch of newfag gamers with your Sigma franchise.

If this same **** happens with NG3, i swear i will bust a nut and go ****ing insane and probably end up in your building holding a gun to your head forcing you to put the content of NG3S onto the xbox version, because id rather do that than let you ****ers get away with this **** that you've ****ed us over again with.

such a naive fanboy.
You don't even know what you are talking about.

Maybe if you stop lurking in the same site 24/7 you'll gain some knowledge why all these decisions were made.

And one more thing, Ninja Gaiden nor DOA does not belong to Xbox system so go away xbot!.

lol actually im more of a pc gamer, but the point is ninja gaiden 1 and black was on xbox, and i didnt mind the first sigma being on ps3 because it was a 3rd remake. But what annoyed me is sigma 2 having SOO much more content than the original NG2 and none of it being avaiable. what was the point of making it a timed exclusive if they lost a load of content.

If you really want to kow why the original NG didn't have any extra features if not the same ones, it is pretty simple and obviuos.

1- the HUGE space limitation the XboX disgracefully has.
2- the capability of the platform which xbox made clear with NG2 even after reducing the quality of the game to a level that made it seem a fraud.
3-Too many DLC will surely lead to the ( always ) angry players start mouthing of tecmo taking advantage and ripping players of by not including them with the game in the first place.

and for the sigma franchise existance
1- the biggest fan-boy ( itagaki ) left team ninja after taking the DOA series to the Xbox which narrowed its development and opportunities.
2- ninja gaiden wasn't really made to the level team ninja wanted it to be due to itagaki's fan-boyism and half-assed work.
3- People like me who never played any ninja gaidens xbox version and want to play the games NGS1 & NGS2 were the answer.

PS :Toppics like this one should be at the XBOX forums as they lurk with FAN-BOYS that will agree with you and discuss the topic indefinetly .

are you some kind of faggot? The point is they should of at least brung the content of the sigma version to xbox, it seems like fanboyism to immediately release a much updated and more content packed version immediately after the timed exclusivity wore off.

Not to mention that the ps3 version sold half as much and most people i know that i tell to buy ng2s when they have a ps3 say "no it looks bad".

Either way they would of made probably more sales in DLC for 360 than they made actual game sales on the ps3.

Once again you don't know what is going on, yet you're a PC gamer and can't find relevant news online!?

If they bring Sigma 2's content to Xbox 360, will people buy that version?

Sigma 2 is made out from The Hybrid Engine- Sigma 1 and Ninja Gaiden 2 engine combined together. Ninja Gaiden 2 game itself only has NG2 engine, if players want Sigma 2's content, Team NINJA would have to remake Sigma 2's content just for Ninja Gaiden 2. Again which will take amount of time. We need DOA5, Code Cronus or Ninja Gaiden 3. So Team NINJA can't delay with ports!

Third thing, it was Itagaki's team who gave us the failure Ninja Gaiden 2. Previous team who left with Itagaki had to stay and fix NG2 and Mission mode before leaving. Hayashi has nothing to do with bullcrap production Itagaki made.

Fourth Ninja Gaiden Sigma selling 5000k copies, that's because not that much people owned a PS3. Sigma 2 selling 5000k in just 5 months (300k in just 2 months!) means an awesome thing, because game ports never sell that much so vast in a few months.

why would they make more sales on NG2's DLC content!???

NGS2 engine is the same, its just optimised for playstation 3's cell hardware... They could easily port it over engines, it really wouldnt take long and would be worth hiring extra staff to do it for them.

oh...and I guess you're a game developer then and know about engines.

No..Team NINJA should not waste anymore time with useless ports, we need DOA5, Code Cronus or Ninja Gaiden 3.

Whoo been awhile since I even visited this site. Anyway I understand OP's complaint I really do cause when I started getting back into Doa and ninja gaiden they suddenly switched to the ps3 which I have no problem against at all I welcome the idea of exposing more gamers to two well known and enjoyable franchises. But the whole reason I got the 360 was for Doa 4 and to see Ngs2 have such a nice upgrade in gameplay and ayane being playable and (shes my favorite character) I was to say the least upset. But rather try and do some for ninja gaiden 2 on the 360 I gotta say I agree with xino we need the next lineup in the series yet tecmo seems content to shell out extreme volley ball spin offs. Hey I like seeing pretty girls showing off their...assets as much as the next guy but well thats what life and the internet are for. In short I think we need Ninja Gaiden 3 for multiple consoles and with Ayane playable of course.

But why would they? NG2 is a 2008 game and NGS2 is a 2009 game for PS3 which is virtually the same game in theory only added some extras that isn't worth being put on the marketplace for 360 version cause it was Itagaki's game. You can't just modify someone elses game without their permission.

There is alot of hardware and disc space issues as well. 360 game was design purely for having multitude of enemies and hordes of blood that ruined the experience due to frame rate problems where as Hayashi addressed those problems in Sigma 2(a basically port of NG2) while adding some perks to it.

Take it from a PS3 player, you're not missing much from not being able to play as Ayane, Momiji and Rachael. In fact, I would have rather played a 100% storylined game with only Ryu cause I like him over the others.

Each game has it's own personality, taking it off of one and bringing it to another would just be stupid. Again, since the sigma games were made by a different development team and the xbox ones all left, it's virtually impossible or beneficial at this stage to bring the DLC for NG2. I would rather see NG3 and DOA5 tbh.

It's insane how predictable Xbox fanboys can be...

Look kid, Sigma 2 is Team Ninja's way of showing the world that they don't need Itagaki to make great games. If anything, Sigma 2 shows that they can do better now that he is gone.

So this thread is just going to be about insulting anyone who has an xbox...right yes well me being an xbox owner (not entirely sure if that makes me an "xbot" by default) would rather see anothe ninja gaiden or doa game (for multiple consoles) rather than these inane extreme volleyball spin offs.

Well Phantalus it seems you maybe in luck, according to the link on this thread Xino made, ninja gaiden 3 had been talked about saying it's going to look beautiful and awesome...blah blah and based off Hayashi's comments NG3 will have blood and gore back in. I'm assuming however there won't be as many enemies on screen like in NG2 and on top of that it'll be a multiplatform release.

So you may get your wish. word of advice, don't worry to much about people insulting 360 users here. Many people have had dealings with whiny 360 users where they just assume anyone who didn't like Sigma 2 and worshiped NG2 are fanbots.
I 100% see where the op coming from but at this stage I don't see it beneficial for them to stop working on the next NG just to add these perks to NG2 that technically Itagaki made. It would also bring some legal issue again or something as they made it.
