OK, recently I had some free time and I went through my favorite games on the PS3, and now I discovered that I didn't touch ngs, even though it is one of my favorites. on the other hand ngs2 was the one I spent most of my time playing.now what got to my mind is that if Team Ninja could create some sort of a patch for both games that will make weapons unlocked in sigma usable in sigma2 and/or vice versa that will make both games more interesting and increase replay value for both. of course they have to adjust the usage of each weapon to suit the gameplay style of each game so that you feel a difference between the 2 games using the same weapon.

But even now as I write this post I realize How HARD is this feature to be created after the release of the game, but never underestimate the power of the DLC, it will be great if you can use the scythe in sigma and the dabilahro in sigma2.

i agree but developers don't always go back to old games and make a change. That's one of the reasons why i sell my old games.

These developers don't have time to make content for old games since they are busy with their new game and they feel there isn't any point in making content for old games because they wouldn't make much money on it.

Naughty Dawg were gonna make DLC for Uncharted 1 recently, well i think it was a rumour but some site said they were talking about doing it.


One thing I would say is developers don't do any encouraging for consumers who helped buy their old original games and give something back to their next game. For an example, if you played Metroid Fusion on GBA and you recently bought Metroid Prime on Gamecube. If you link up your save game to the gamecube, you'll unlock a 3d Fusion suit for Samus in Metroid Prime.

Developers are seriously lacking in this. I would love to unlock a Hidden Costume for Ryu in Ninja Gaiden 3 if I already have a DOA3 save. Gears of War 2 did this, so I don't know why developers don't encourage this:/

Like if you have Halo 3 gamesave, you get an unlock for Hayabusa Armour for DOA 5.
