I love ninja gaiden 2, but I've found problems when I started playing on mentor, the slowdowns are pretty unnerving, master mode is probably worse...a patch is necessary to make it run better, I noticed also evident clipping issues here and there and slight screen tearing problems...I'm sure team ninja can make this wonderful game even better
There's so much frame rate drop on the later levels it's insanely annoying. Another thing, I'm gonna have to beat the archfiend AGAIN on Warrior because it doesn't auto upload scores to the leaderboard? WTF? I hit A and didn't realize I'd have to upload my scores manually. This is by far the worst leaderboard system ever. I have no idea what you guys were thinking about, other than ways to totally turn off all but the most hardcore fans of yours, all 5 of them.
After two long months of Ninja Gaiden II being unplayable due to a freezing issue on cutscenes in every chapter, Tecmo has finally released a patch that fixes this issue and makes the game a lot smoother. This is indeed a good time to celebrate the 1,000,000 mark in sales of Ninja Gaiden II."
] It's too bad that whole mess with Itagaki happened. If it hadn't, I don't think they would have released the game until it was totally finished. Here's hoping that it fixes the issues.
