why not bring it to ps3? seriously.... and whats with the people saying oh dont support sony your not getting paid for it and all this bollocks ... wtf lol im just trying to save myself money this is the console i own (along with a wii) (purely for zelda) and theres no way all the time i have a hole in my arse that im going to waste my money on an xbox.

All decent titles should be multi platform rather than exclusive.. dont fall for microsofts fat american money... build up a large fanbase by releasing great titles like NG to playstation. why? because purely its PLAYSTATION. sony are massive 2009 is going to be golden for the ps3.

I'm not a fan boy. I am hoping for a NG2 black with the missions included.

But:
NG2 has serious lagging issues on the Xbox360. The Xbox360 has a faster media drive than the PS3. The drive in the PS3 is slower for DVD media, as it is a Bluray drive. Seems odd, but it's a fact.

It may take some creative work to get it to work properly on a PS3.

Most likely, they are just waiting for the PS3 user base to grow enough to make it worth the business cost of porting the project to PS3.

Now if we could get just 1 more DOA and DOA Extreme if Tecmo wants to, to the PS3.

Didnt even finish NG2 due to all the bugs and BS updates that wiped my save files.

Im still playing Sigma (its beautiful) and will by 2 copies of Sigma2.

Man, Sigma 2 looks like Silk. Im thinking Co-op from the shot with Ayane and Ryu back to back.

Sigma2 could easily support co-op with the difficulty levles and insane amount of enemies.. (at the same time gaining braging rights for the first insane co-op action game)

Interesting, they got my attention saying Ayane was a playable character.

Hopefully she will be playable through the ENTIRE game, not just some lame side missions like Rachel got

Im hoping for 1080p support... likely wont happen. Current gen consoles are just too underpowered I guess.. But still, until they say otherwise, Ill keep hoping for it.

Ayane actually doesn't quite fit in with her DOA esq costume. Her original NG costume fit the game MUCH better.

Im certainly going to keep an eye on this one. It could easily become a must have game. Especially for those like myself who haven't played NG2.

So that explains the back to back image of Ryu and Ayane performing the Ninpo together.

Looks like a horde mode from Gears of War 2.
(I seriously hope it is).

I really don't mind about her costume, sort of looks like Ayane style of dressing.

All Sony has to do is reduce the price of the PS3!

Man. I have no words to express the joy of finding out about co-op in NGS2.

I read an article from IGN. They said something about Team Ninja were thinking of making some contents for the 360 version (unconfirmed).

But no way can they make the same thing from PS3 to the 360! They redefined the whole experience in the PS3 version, so they can't do the same to the 360.

As you can see from the trailer, less enemies on screen, to stop from lagging, slow downs and freezes. Better camera, new Stats system etc. All these cannot work on the xbox 360 because the original is fixed to the DvD disc. Same goes to the graphics, enhanced.
(But though, I saw no difference, all I could see in changes was bloom effect used in Sigma 1. But Momiji scene had the better graphics upgrade).

Now I can finally see how Momiji plays, since I didn't get my hands on Dragon Sword.

(In the trailer, they used the text PS3 instead of PlayStation 3:P)


My advice, start saving up money for a PS3!

Damn I was so thrilled when I first heard of NG Sigma 2. But damn was I dissappointed when I read the following article:

"Violence is not going to be one of the key selling points of this title... It's not all about how bloody it is." Instead they're going for "a much cooler, cleaner, sleeker look". So you won't see great big spurts of blood, but clouds of purple essence when enemies get dismembered.

I just can't see that being a good thing in any way. Ninja Gaiden 2 was so much cooler than NG, partly because of that insane amount of blood and cut-off limbs. Purple essence clouds just can't deliver the same level of awesomeness of being a ninja. And once I saw a dream in which I was a ninja, so I know what I am talking about!

In the article it is also stated that the co-op mode won't involve playing through the story with a friend, but will be more "arcade-style"

I rather play the story with a friend but I guess that's better than nothing. I sure hope that players can choose blood instead of purple clouds...

NG2's blood sucked! It didn't look exactly like the ones in the hi res pictures. Best blood I've seen in other games: Gears of War and Resident Evil.

If blood matters to you the most, then I suggest you go play Madworld:/

I agree with Hayashi (can't remember his name O_o). It's good the way they made the Co-oP, because too many people complained how you must use Rachel in the story without you deciding if you want to use her or not.


One person we need the most is Evil Ryu/Fiend Ryu.

I hope they down down on the projectile spam. As much fun as the challenge is completing Master was. I don't think I wanna do it for the 4th time.
