Hello everyone.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is only 50% done, now 51%. Team NINJA are addressing all the issues we had from previous NG games.

So while they are working on it, post all the stuff you hated and want to be fixed!
I hope this does get to them O_o.


I remember writing a 6 page letter about improving the game.

(this forum is dead O_O)

Anyway here's mine:

*Boss grabs/throws: Please fix this, what's the problem with boss grabbing you that last about 15 sec? It goes on forever, the most annoying boss that grabs you is Zedonius and Dancing Skeleton. I want the bosses to grab me, throw me and then I'll continue with the fight- Simple.

*Judging from the trailer video for the gameplay. It looks like it inherents Ninja Gaiden Black's gameplay and Ninja Gaiden 2's dismemberment, O.T and fast gameplay. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, Make the gameplay back to Ninja Gaiden's Black! I love how enemies were so SMART, how they blocked half of my moves in Master Ninja, how they attacked in groups and patterns (if you don't roll or block). How you had to use tactics to defeat the enemies rather than going all out mindlessly in NG2. When ever I died in NGB, I knew it was my fault, but if I died in NG2, it wasn't my fault, it was the camera's or bugs.
From the looks of the trailer, I saw maximum of 6 enemies on screen, some enemies were still shooting projectiles off screen, Ryu was only engaging 1 enemy at a time just like in NGB. I like this gameplay, looks like NGB+NG2. But please don't make it like NG2.

*Chapter Select: I enjoyed Devil May Cry 4 better than NG2 as a replayable game. It had a chapter select. We need this to be in NGS2, in NGB I hated playing through Chapter 11 all the time because it bored me. Players who are not professional at this game could just select a chapter, and fight monsters they found really hard to defeat by practicing.

*With the new addition, character [Ryu] will look on the goal direction, since this is included. We definitely have no need for maps!

*Keep the Weapons carry over

*Please bring back Evil/Fiend Ryu. He is really important just like how Rachel is in your office. If you can't include him as a character or in-game, at least make him as a selectable costume for Ryu.

*People hated the Biometal and the other costume, I didn't purchase them so I couldn't tell if they looked good or not. But I did get the Fiend Ryu costume, it looked alright, but I favour only colour 1 and 5. Please do something about this costume selection thing. Main selectable costume we want are: Classic blue Ninja outfit, Fiend/Evil Ryu and Ryukenden.
I still vote for a Holy Falcon: Complete white designed costume (Legendary Falcon had the complete black design).

*I like the new Stats system concept: favourite weapon, how many UT pulled off, how many times died. Don't forget to include Highest Combo, Highest Combo with a [Weapon], Most used Weapon, Most used Ninpon, Most character Played as online, Died the most in [Chapter], Finished [Master/Mentor/Warrior/Acolyte] Difficulty, (this is optional: Most used Move).

*Forget the Multiplayer deathmatch or Team Deathmatch. Co-oP for the Mission mode like and Campaign is good enough to fill up our belly's! I think if you too image a deathmatch, think of Ninja Gaiden Black's Ryu vs Fiend Ryu. Fiend Ryu blocked almost 80% of all your attacks, so I don't think a Deathmatch would work out. (Unless we see a concept).

*Heavenly Justice should be included in every weapon, just like how Flying Swallow was included in every weapon, but this is optional.

*Ultimate Technique in mid air!??? If you are to include that, make sure this game is fully tested and the gameplay will suit us. Because I think the On-Air UT only fits Momiji.

*Ultimate Technique with X/Y: It was cool to tap the X button while performing UT for the Viggorian Flails. It would be awesome to do so with every weapon.

*Optional: Allow to turn Purple Effect on/off in the options menu.

*I didn't find the camera in NG2 to be painful, but it was painful when you play in higher difficulty. If we are to battle the 2 Armadillos again, please make sure you fix the camera in that battle!

*If the Blood are to be replaced by the Purple Effect; what will you do with Elizabeth blood bath scene? Sonia destroying the Stadium, and Volf's massacre of the wolves.

*Using 3 playable characters are good enough!

*Please remove the Water Dragon Boss or fix the boss battle!

*People complaining about the game not having blood. Please ignore them, Ninja Gaiden had always been focused on Gameplay.

*Can you please include a Ryu Must Die mode (Fiend of Human): One hit kill for both Ryu or the enemies. I actually liked this content in DMC4 "Heaven or Hell", but it was TOO EASY, because you can shoot your guns and the enemies dies instantly. Make a Fiend or Human mode, if you hit an enemy with 1 strike, they die, you can also die if you get struck with 1 hit. This will be harder than Master Ninja!!!

*From the trailer, did you bring back the roll? Both the Dash and Roll are good evading options.

*Bring back the BERSERKERS!!!! A MUST!

*Additional big boss battle (Statue of Liberty). PLEASE do not make the battle like Devil May Cry 4's boss The Savior!

*Do not Rush this game!

*If something doesn't work out, leave it or revert back to original form. We don't want this to be as buggy as Ninja Gaiden 2.

I agree with everything you posted Xino. Also Team Ninja MUST take out those big red annoying fish. I hate the fact that I just defeated hard bosses and die later on to those stupid red fish just because they grabbed me 3 times in a row and I couldn't do anything .

sadly both of you are the only ones not wanting gore in the game.

the majority, that is a huge loss that they dont have blood in the game, im not 10 years old im 27, andi can take the gore..and to be honest for al ot of people my age that is a huge factor.

GEARS OF WAR wouldnt be GEARS OF WAR wihtout the Chain saw finishers...same with NG. is a key part. so stop with this garbage if you want them to make money, they have to make us happy.

People look at the whole game, the blood and dismemberment are part of this series, nobody likes censorship.

So what if he kept the rubbish blood from NG2 and all the improvements that are to come in NGS2 weren't made, then what is the sole purpose of buying NGS2!?

So far I have, COD4, Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Ninja Blade, X-Blades, Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil 5, Orange Box. (will soon sell some from the list).

The thing you people should be complaining about is the difficulty not the blood. If the game is still too hard, who will buy it? NG2 sold well, because people were tricked and suckered into thinking the game was good. In the end they were ****ed off because of the bad camera and difficulty, better yet buggy game. And they sold it!

The dismemberment is part of the series until NG2, but it's still in NGS2. In NG1 all you do is chop up their heads. And this game isn't censored.

The game is definitely improved compared to the 360 version, but it is also censored.

So, you have Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War 2, you would be happy if they censored and had taken away the blood?
I don't have these game, but I probably would give me much discomfort, it gave me very annoyed the fact that they have censored resident evil 5 (but how, is a horror game and they censor it ?). I will never understand the reasons for this censorship and I repeat: could very well make it optional.

Not only that, other games in UK were censored. No wonder why people kept saying in my video that I took off the part they ripped McKain's head off in Area 51 game. I didn't know it was censored.

Known then that you have not played resident evil 4 otherwise you would not do this question. In Resident Evil 5 (a horror game) have censored the decapitations (and in resident evil 4 were not censored).

I see...I know where this is getting to, this is always every excuse a paranoid gamer always use. There was a rape game called Rapelay made 2006, recently media are starting to bang on about it because Amazon had it in their selling list. Three kinds of people had a sharing thought of what they think of the game.
First people complained that it is promoting rape and shouldn't be made. Second people say if there are rape in books and movies, why should they remove rape in games? And the third people, "it isn't real, just virtual".


So just because Ninja Gaiden 2 has blood, doesn't mean some weak minded person wouldn't do something to fulfill is blood thirsty needs.

And yes, some people can't distinguish between reality and fiction.

Resident Evil 4 and 5 were never censored, if you are referring to the part the Texas Chainsaw Massacre saws off Chris's or Leon's head, but we only get to see both of them fall to their knees without seeing the head chopped off.

Sorry, that is not censorship, and that would be taking gaming to the extreme if they showed that. In fact not many movies I've seen show people getting beheaded.

People like you who demand things that isn't necessary should be in video games would just kill video games and get it eventually banned. I don't know much about Jack Thompson, but I do know people complain about him because he is trying to get violent games banned.

Soon he will succeed, his first step, he is calling Barack Obama to put a ban on violent games.

Now as Barack Obama being president, from his status, looks like a person that wouldn't be deep in video games, in fact he may not even know much about them. But if they showed him a comparison between Wii games and Xbox 360/PS3 games. Oh yea, I just thought of another thing.

It's the problem with the Swimming.

I noticed it was Sigma that introduced the fighting on water feature (bad choice:/)

But in NG2, I don't know if it was the same thing or if it was tweaked.

Because the Ryu walking on water is so ANNOYING!!!

You need to press A twice to make Ryu swim, sometimes you try diving but Ryu walks on water.

This is strictly annoying, so please fix this!

*In Chapter...I can't remember what chapter it was. But the graveyard with lots of sword struck to the ground. PLEASE OH PLEASE. Make this stage WORTH SOMETHING!
Itagaki said that level was creative, he even used it in the box art. I thought it was awesome too, and I imagined playing Ryu in that graveyard against many enemies. When I finally played the game, I was deeply disappointed. Bad lag, glitches etc. The stage was nothing, nothing was happening!

Please make this graveyard worth something, Co-op mode, me and my friend battling fiends and ninja's in that graveyard.

*In Ninja Gaiden Black, if you and Murai clash with your sword and his Nunchuk. You'll both duel together, you have to button bash to take control. The same goes to fighting Doku and Spirit Doku, if he grabs you, you'll have to button bash to escape. And finally the ghost fishes, you must button bash to escape.

Instead of button bashing, allow us to use the PS3's motion Sensor to escape the grabs.

I was really annoyed that you removed the Combo Count meter in Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

Please bring it back! I love chaining combos!

I know i'm not the only one who had experienced this but sometimes the control delays in NG2 and Sigma.

I just finished playing Sigma and found out you disabled the smoke bomb from setting off under water, it's ok but Ryu dropping it under pond of water should still set of the bomb.

I played Sigma on a 42inch tv with 1080i output, and the difference between 720p is really lacking! Everthing was all blury. Since Sigma 2 will feature 1080i again, please make sure it has the same details as of 720p (or are we meant to play 1080i on a 50inch tv? O_o).

Please fix the action game play like fighting those sea monsters in NG2 with the galting gun. It wasn't a challenge but time wasting.

For NG Sigma 2, there is only one thing that I want:

A Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 pack in the Xbox 360's marketplace, with all the new things that will have in NGS2

PS: It would probably cost microsoft points, but I don't care. Nevertheless, it's a good way for Tecmo to win money.

Turning on the Karma system that calculates your time you used to kill enemies before the timer finishes and how many Ultimate Techniques (level 1 and 2) used. When ever we kill a group of enemies before the timer reaches zero, the total will only be calculated until we collect the last essence held by the last enemy.
Please allow the Karma calculator to only calculate the total until we kill the last enemy, not by collecting the karma.

Please use the Blur effect just as you did in Sigma! (I do like how the blur effect was used in DOA4 though).
